Imperial assault carrier dickable ship types.

Recommended Posts

So I was watching Star Wars: Rebels and thinking about why the TIE Adv. Prototype wasn't dockable and how I didn't agree with the idea that it shouldn't be allowed to dock just because of the typed difference between "Advanced" and "Adv." When all of a sudden the gods of X-Wing provided me with a canon reference for a TIE Adv. Prototype docked to an Imperial Assault Carrier (Gozanti).

Check out post #11 in this thread

If Vader in his X1 can go, then so should the TIE Adv. Prototype.

Especially since we've seen the TAP dock with the Gozanti in the Rebels Season 1 finale, Fire Across The Galaxy.

Two different ship types are docked to that Assault Carrier. That's highly illegal!

To be fair, you have no idea what upgrade that Carrier is using. This could come from an era where they've released "Improved Docking Clamps", and that guy paid 2pts for that upgrade.

Violated standard operating procedure, bad me!

Hello Zachary,

In the future, please do not send me questions directly, please submit your questions though the website. This is mainly for data tracking and if I no longer am in charge of answering rules questions, the question is sent to the correct person.

In response to your rules question:
Good Afternoon,

Our X-Wing Miniatures Group is hosting an Epic tournament on
April 2nd
 and, now that Wave 8
and
the new FAQ have been released we are left with one burning question:

Can players dock TIE Adv. Prototypes to the Imperial Assault Carrier?

As of right now, you cannot equip a TIE Adv. Prototype to the Imperial Assault Carrier.

Thanks for playing,
