I know the standard fleet value for just the Core set was 180 points and the rules say 300 points for a standard fleet, but I've been seeing posts about 400 point builds and other posts and various internet references saying that since Wave II (the Imperial Star Destroyer and Home One expansions) the new point limit is 400. I know that the rules basically say that players can set any limit they desire, but I'm confused as to what the 'official' limit is. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

But the recent Tournament FAQ update, or whatever has the wrong value doesn't it?It's not "the future" of Armada anymore. Edit: I just looked, I didn't see anything. I had only downloaded the "Tournament FAQ" and completely missed the actual "Tournament Rules". Oops. I wish they would change it in errata or reissues for every other document which refers to either a 180 point limit for single Core fleets or 300 point standards for everything else. Integrale069 7 Posted January 5, 2016 The new FAQ seriously needs rewriting the up the point limit to 400pts state that along with time limit change but leave the title as future of Armada (page 1). The points change is reinforced by the MOV chart being updated to consider 350+pts wins (page 3). But then on page 4 for fleet building it says max fleet size is 300pts max, squadrons 100pts max. Its clear 400pts is now the accepted norm as all store championships and tournaments have updated to 400pts tournaments.
