Is this a thing? Corran and two Y-wings with ion cannons?

I'm just researching the meta... I like the idea of the jousting Corran horn, but I wanted something tanking to pair him with that could contribute to map control. How do you think this list would work?

Yeah the torps were thrown with leftover points, they are for that first range 3 shot before ion comes in range. Hopefully able to take down anyone who could dodge Corran before they're a nuisance. I'm very much open to suggestion. I haven't bought a second y-wing yet, and I'm considering getting the most wanted package because of the vale and new cards. Not to mention z95's

Nice idea, I was also thinking of dropping the r7 and the torps for engine upgrade on each. A boosting y-wing might be an odd opponent to deal with. I like that idea!

on generic y-wings a boost is a waste. Id rather have an R2 unit

No excuse for one of those Ys not to have R3A2, unless you have no transport. So that's an excuse.

I think TastetheRainbow ran something similar in Regionals this year to some success, but I don't know the details.

Just threw together a version that suits my style:

Stress and Ion control. PS4 > PS2. Hull Upgrade saves Corran from Wampa and unlucky Proton Bombs or Advanced Homing Missiles. I've had success with and enjoy PtL Horn. There are up to 9 points to be used elsewise, though, between dropping PtL to VI, the Grays to Golds, and losing Hull Upgrade.

I'd drop the Flechettes and give those Ys some good ol' fashion bombs and the title.

So it seems like there's some interest around this list, but some different ideas as to how to use the Y-wings. What if we TLT both of them? That might make them threatening enough to cause your opponent to have to choose between them and Corran. I love Ion control but I just don't feel like they'll be enough damage output in this list without the TLT. Maybe the two TLT Y-wing will create a no-fly-zone for map control.
