What would you take?

Here's what I'm thinking.

E-Wing: · Corran Horn (35)

Veteran Instincts (1)

Proton Torpedoes (4)

Fire Control System (2)

There are better targets than an Interceptor at range 3, skulking behind an asteroid, evading. 6 green dice, autothrustered with an evade is not an appealing target in a target rich environment. By the time they set their sights on you, it is too late.

I would probably take

 

YT-1300 - Chewebacca

-Millennium Falcon

-Push The Limit

-Lando Clarissian

-Nien Nunb

 

Can tank a lot of hits and in a free-for-all type of fight survivability is the most important thing in my opinion.

The big ships die first. Make sure you are not a target. Don't go gung ho against anyone and go for a slippery ship, the more green dice the better

This was pretty much my thought but I figured it would be handy to balance greens with a bit of offence for the final two-ship showdown. I prefer rebels to the other factions hence Corran. Jake Farrell is another possibility but his damage potential is limited.

I like this. Fairly non descript so shouldn't be a visible target. Green dice are your friend. If there is a ship you can just park on an asteroid and have dash free on it even better

Yup. That's why I'm thinking about the E-wing with R2D2. Lots of green dice, good manoeuvres, all the important actions with the EU. And some good shooting to cap it off.

It is my current go to ship and I'm absolutely in love with it. 

Any attack on Kir is such a hard sell when there are still easier (or more aggressive) targets on the board that he is usually left to his own devices. 

 

PS6 means that the aces will have decided wether or not to attack him before he has to choose to use his evade. It also means he can decide to get out of arc instead of taking an evade against lower PS. You could even block in a pinch.

I went with the Autoblaster because with Ten Numb you can't stop one critical, and you can't stop regular hits with Autoblaster. So once you're in range one, you can't stop my attacks.

Still got to hit though and in all on all, it's not about who gets the most kills its about who is left at the end. A b wing is just not agile enough and a few people firing on it will knock it out quickly especially if you are at range 1.

You want something that does it damage at range 3 and is super agile and survivable

This seems like a 1v1 match. And my attacks at rage one will always do full damage of what ever I roll.

I like the idea a lot, but I lack experience with Imperials. I tend to default to rebels. Are you suggesting that you just pick an asteroid with this guy and just fly round it in circles until everyone else destroys each-other? Can I ask why you'd choose Kir over Soontir in this situation?

Just skirt along the edges. Soontir is a target, Kir doesn't get hit if he doesn't want to. The ptl, while efficient also lures you into the green maneuvers, kir has his whole dial available every single turn.

Oh and don't forget to pounce if someone's back is turned. A wounded enemy is irresistible to the rest.

Either jump into range 1 and focus for four dice, or stand off for three and an evade/hit.

Don't be scared of shooting unmodified, survival is key.

Only one person has mentioned Lone Wolf? So good in this format.

 

Take something that gets extra focus and lone wolf. Skywalker is good with Lone Wolf and R2D2, as is Boba Fett with Lone Wolf and Glitterstim.

 

There's also nothing wrong with a PS9 Lone Wolf Vader who uses Focus/Evade for Defense, Accuracy Corrector for offense, and Proton Rockets to actually deal damage when it comes down to you and 1 other guy.

 

Here's a durable fellow:

 

PILOTS

Boba Fett (50)
Firespray-31 (39), Lone Wolf (2), Recon Specialist (3), Glitterstim (2), Engine Upgrade (4)

Take Glitterstim on turn 1 and an evade action to avoid the brunt of the fireworks, then use Lone Wolf + your ability to ensure symbols every defensive roll with extra focus from Recon Spec.

Lone Wolf seems made for this format, and I love the idea of using Luke. He was my original choice, but after some thought I came to the conclusion that Corran is both more resilient and more damaging on the offence.

I like your Boba, a very interesting option.

What about:

IG-88C, Lone Wolf, Advanced Sensors, Autothrusters, Mangler Cannon, Flechette Cannon, Inertial Dampeners.

All the tricks to stay out of arcs and some nice damage options.
