Hockeyzombie 617 Posted December 20, 2015 I would drop Luke. He's very expensive and doesn't really do much to justify costing two more points than Gunner. I would also switch Veteran Instincts for either Stay On Target or Push the Limit to keep Keyan stressed. I'm not entirely sold on the Ion Cannon, but I rarely use them so I might be underestimating how useful it is. I always use HLC or go without a cannon when I use B-Wings, but that's just me. On Tycho I would drop Shield Upgrade and use Test Pilot to give him Expert Handling or Daredevil.

My opponent already had the copy of Gunner otherwise I would use it but the other one is not bad the ion cannon is for battlefield controll. Dropping the shield upgrade to get something I don't have is not an option.

blade_mercurial 2,091 Posted December 20, 2015 (edited) Drop Luke and put Gunner. Drop Shield Upgrade on Tycho and put Autothrusters. He doesn't have those upgrades.Dear OP, let me save you some heartache and tell you right now: 2 ace a-wings + 1 ace b-wing does NOT work. The dials are too different to allow you to fly your ships together and if the a-wings are too far away, they cannot support the b-wing (they lack the firepower to draw attention away from the obvious threat the b-wing poses). Keyan will always die first and quick and rarely do anything effective in this list. You will have a much more enjoyable game if you limit yourself to a single a-wing. Either as a cheap filler ship (prototype) that can act as blocker in front of your main force, or as a slightly more expensive flanker that comes in from the side and tries to be annoying and maybe deal some damage. The main part of your force needs to be 'bulky' however, if this is going to be successful. So it should consist of at least 2 or 3 fairly rugged ships because they WILL be taking fire... alternatively, if you like fast ships, go all in on the speed. Fly lots of a-wings or fly 1 ace a-wing or even 2 filler a-wings alongside other fast ships. Big ships with boost, such as the millenium falcon or the YT-2400 or even a e-wing with engine upgrade can all do well in this format Edited December 20, 2015 by blade_mercurial
killakan 136 Posted December 20, 2015 (edited) Just working with the ships I got modified it like this (replaced luke with gunner and veteran instincts with push the limit, we changed up our lists). I've seen this work well vs this list Kath Scarlet Shield Upgrade Deadeye Heavy Laser Cannon Mercenary Copilot Proximity Mines Slave 1 Proton Torpedoes Rexler Brath Shield Upgrade Determination Ion Cannon Proton Rockets Obsidian Squadron Pilot Edited December 20, 2015 by killakan
