Its called a shrimp because its a tiny version of the MC80.  If anything, the MC80 is a squid....or sea cucumber.

Nope, gotta be a Shrimp.  We're running a campaign where I've got three CR90s: the Larry, Curly, and Moe.  Just earned enough XP to add a MC30 to that fleet, so it's none other than the SKS Shemp Shrimp.  "Shemp Squid" doesn't have the same ring to it.

Well, if we're going by the pictures, add you had to add was tentacles to an already established squid base.  I think the pictures just proved that it's a squid.

Guys, you're all crazy, the OP is right - the MC30 does look like a squid (with the the tentacles on the right end, although I don't think they need drawing on, they're the engine bit) and more importantly the MC80 looks nothing like one!

Also, what's a guppy?
