Firespray + Aces

With OP's restriction of using only the Imperial Aces and the Firespray expansion:

Carnor Jax + Push the Limit, Stealth Device

Royal Guard Pilot + Push the Limit, Stealth Device

Bounty Hunter + Heavy Laser Cannon

That should give you a good base to start from before you tailor your list to your play style. This list should teach you how how to reposition with double-action Interceptors, and should also teach you range control with Jax's range 1 ability and the Bounty Hunter's long range firepower.

Assuming you have the (old) core set as well, one other way you could go from here is to drop the Royal Guard Interceptor for two Academy Pilots, and add a Royal Guard Title and Shield Upgrade on Jax. The PS1 TIEs will let you experiment with blocking your opponent, and maybe flying two ships in formation while making Jax a little bit more survivable.

P.S.  if you run imperial boba fett... angle him at 22.5 degrees when setting up - so that alternative bank actions move you towards the other side of the board - while keeping his firing arc also covering the straight ahead line. This means you would not use straights at all on the approach - and can easily switch for a turn in the other direction, should you need to. 2 consecutive banks will also move you farther than 2 consecutive straights of the same speed.

A PS6 Royal Guard is actually pretty good.

 

Mid-PS gets a bad rap, but in this case he acts as just as much of an ace as Soontir would against mooks (especially sneaking into TLT holes), but can be used as a blocker against high-level stuff - the repositioning shenanigans available let you all but pick the precise spot you want your ship to land to cause the enemy to ram.

 

This could be a good place for an Intel Agent on that Bounty Hunter, so you have a shot at knowing where that might actually be. ;)

 

I think the build would prefer Soontir over Carnor (If you're causing parking lots, there aren't any focus tokens to spend anyway), but heck, use what you've got. Jax certainly isn't bad, and in this case, you actually have a shot at using both of your interceptors to block the dreaded Soontir/Vader/Hans that usually dance across the board due to Intel Agent letting you spoil their actions... and that might be worth something in itself.

Why take a naked Boba when you can take a souped up BH or Krassis with Mangler Cannon?

 

Your RGP will never have enough actions to get good mileage out of Targeting Comp, I'd drop it and VI for PTL.

Then test to see if the list does it for you.

The Firespray is a great support ship for two highly mobile escorts or aces.

 

On the Scum side I fly Kath and 2 Black Sun Enforcers (only lost one game with this list).

My Imperial list is:

 

Krassis+HLC+IA

2x Stigma+IA+SPA

 

Both lists deliver the hurt and fast while being much more durable than most of my opponents initially realized.

Are you playing tournaments or casually? If casual will the guys you play let you proxy? You can make some awesome lists with a Bounty Hunter but if you want actual help you need to explain the situation better. Just bumping your post and acting helpless is going to get you responses that are as helpful as your posts. Also, you keep bumping and saying no one will help you but you have a page and a half of responses to a very specific question. Maybe consider thanking the guys that responded with useful information and builds despite the parameters of the situation.

And I was arguing why a PS6 RGP was pretty good. Which is to say: Swap it for PTL, and drop Boba to a Bounty Hunter with Intel Agent if you need. :)

Most experienced players will tell you that you get very little usefulness out of Imperial Boba's ability because the more you fly the more you will be able to make the right maneuver decisions the first time.

Scum Boba on the other hand is glorious. From a meta standpoint he doesn't have a strong place due to new scoring rules and prevalent bad matchups. That being said you can simply add VI and Engine Upgrade to him and he is loads of fun to use! It's a strong ship that will have his share of solid matchups too but typically isn't going to come out on top in a tournament environment. He's great fun for casual though.

As mentioned by others, the Targeting computer will do no good here. Also, you don't need VI on a PS6 interceptor - you beat the large number of generics (PS 4-) and will never be among the big guys (PS9), so VI is also wasted on the RG. Get PtL back on it as you had before, that has a lot of value here.

Naked Boba isn't worth it. PS wise he's in the same game as your interceptor, with PS8 being worthless vs the other Aces and far too high (=too man ypoints spent on PS) for the rest of the ships around.

 

My suggestion:

Jax (with your config)

Royal Guard (Autothrusters, PTL)

Krassis (Ion cannon)

 

Now Krassis has enough PS to beat the generic folk (even those frequently showing Black Sq Ties) while not spending too much on the PS race. His ability is nice, although kinda overkill for an ion cannon. The ion cannon ensures that your Jax gets there without being intercepted, just target his nastiest dude that might turn in toward Jax and disable that one for a turn. And when firing at R3 you can't expect much more than 1 damage anyway (lucky rolls and HLC aside), so you are not loosing on damage during the opening rounds. Who knows, you might even load an ion on a large ship and get the second one some time later, when it's close to the table edge facing outward, and he forgot about that ion token that he carries around for so many turns already - seen things like that happened :-)

Especially nice vs those TLT Stresshogs that show more and more now, they love to point their nose toward interceptors and just stress them out of the game.
