Be sure to save Biggs' focus to deflect damage (green dice) rather than shooting. If done right, Biggs might even survive the game.Any thoughts?Russell
rlowke 2 Posted November 11, 2015 oops, Biggs can't take Integrated Astromech and Experimental Interface together. So Biggs should be, X-Wing Biggs Darklighter 25 pts R2-F2 3 pts Experimental Interface 3 pts
stabbald 325 Posted November 12, 2015 Doesn't this completely defeat the purpose of Biggs? He's supposed to be protecting your squad, not the other way around.

Well the squad is protected, they just give Biggs something back! The squad looks fun, but being stuck on greens is annoying and Biggs might still not be all that survivable. I'd give it a shot. 1 rlowke reacted to this
rlowke 2 Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) Interesting, having both Wedge and Poe both with "Draw Their Fire" works well, regardless of Biggs (or rather, once Biggs is dead). Your opponent usually needs to concentrate fire on one or the other. If they can take critical for each other it distributes the damage between the two regardless of which one is "chosen" as a target. Very interesting side effect. Not what I was intending but turns out it works pretty well. Edited November 13, 2015 by rlowke
rlowke 2 Posted November 13, 2015 OK, the suggestion to use "Wingman" is a good one and prompts possibly changing Poe to this, X-Wing Poe Dameron 31 pts Integrated Astromech 0 pts BB-8 2 pts Wingman 2 pt getting, "SAVE BIGGS" SQUADRON X-Wing Biggs Darklighter 25 pts R2-F2 3 pts Experimental Interface 3 pts X-Wing Wedge Antilles 29 pts Integrated Astromech 0 pts R2-D2 4 pts Draw Their Fire 1 pt X-Wing Poe Dameron 31 pts Integrated Astromech 0 pts BB-8 2 pts Wingman 2 pt TOTAL 100 pts Where Wedge can take a critical for Biggs while Poe can relieve his stress. Not sure it's worth losing R5-P9 though. And the dynamic between Poe and Wedge both having "Draw Their Fire" and supporting each other in the end game is a curious one. Admiral Deathrain 5,232 Posted November 13, 2015 Not worth the loss of R5-P9 in my opinion, regeneration is just so strong. You could downgrade Wedge to Luke, but that really hurts your damage output. It does however make the squad in its entierty more survivable. 1 rlowke reacted to this

I will try that and see how it plays. Thank you.
