Poe Kyle and Garven

I have been looking at using Kyle with Poe to help Poe if he gets blocked or if I need to use a different action but I didn't want to put all of my eggs in one basket so I am looking at Garvin. I typically like 4 ship builds and I have only used wedge in the past. I wanted to get peoples opinions on whether this is a viable list.

I think I would favour the recon specialist with Kyle rather than Jan as he can stockpile the focus and then, even if Kyle gets blocked he will still have focus to hand out. Also due to his ability focus is of more value to Poe than managing to change it to an evade.

While recon + moldy is nice, in this case, I think Jan is a stronger choice. The reason is because it makes Poe extremely resilient. Basically, it forces the opponent to kill Kyle first, because so long as Kyle is alive, Poe & Garven will not die (or unlikely, anyway). So Kyle becomes a pseudo-Biggs. Also, Jan helps to keep Kyle alive longer than a huge pile of focus tokens would... Edited November 7, 2015 by blade_mercurial
