Jedi Ronin 1,588 Posted October 24, 2015 The list has been updated. Also, I think you have put the Move upgrades under Enhance. Nice catch. Fixed.
ColonelCommissar 1,243 Posted October 24, 2015 Here, just to stuff the ballot, is my Bothan Sentinel (Shien Expert, Artisan) Treyan Vos'ka: http://swsheets.com/c/4p1oc1irb-treyan-vos-ka A Wandering Jedi with skills in Mechanics and Computers, as well as lots of Cunning and Intellect. Also nobody else is a Bothan or an Artisan, so I thought I'd branch out. 1 Kymrel reacted to this

ColonelCommissar 1,243 Posted October 24, 2015 Bothan smash! The description goes with it. I was going on about how strong he was, then realised I was only Brawn 2. Then I shrugged my shoulders and just put that he was incredibly heavily muscled: by Bothan standards. Which aren't great. 2 Jedi Ronin and Kymrel reacted to this
FCastor 81 Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) Is he a Padawan or a Knight? If he is the latter, he may need a rank in Discipline to count (I am not sure if and what Rakaydos has decided on that). Edited October 25, 2015 by FCastor
ColonelCommissar 1,243 Posted October 25, 2015 He's a Knight. One whose main focus probably won't work if he has to take a rank in Discipline since I'd have to drop rank 2 Mechanics
FCastor 81 Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) The list has been updated. So far there are a total of 8 potential players and a respectable variety of characters and builds. Unless I am mistaken, there are 6 Knights, 3 Padawans, 3 Clone Troopers and 1 Other. Edited October 25, 2015 by FCastor

FCastor 81 Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) It would be nice if the GM would go with 8 players, wouldn't it? That would mean 1 character from each player, something like: 3 Knights, 2 Padawans, 3 Clone Troopers or 3 Knights, 1 Padawan, 3 Clone Troopers, 1 Other or 3 Knights, 2 Padawans, 2 Clone Troopers, 1 Other or 2 Knights, 2 Padawans, 3 Clone Troopers, 1 Other A bit of wishful thinking, I know, but a guy can hope. Plus, having two Padawans would mean that they would get to interact with each other instead of just with the Knights or the Clone Troopers. Not to mention it would mean better chances for my guy to get in... Edited October 25, 2015 by FCastor
Kymrel 1,505 Posted October 25, 2015 While I certainly don't envy Rakaydos of having to pick six characters out of the submissions I'm not sure more than six would be viable. PbP can go slowly with six players, eight could would be a lot slower. But the choice is his. Fortunately!
ColonelCommissar 1,243 Posted October 25, 2015 Yeah, I'm having trouble running a game with seven. He could, of course, split it down into two games of four but that raises a whole new set of problems.
FCastor 81 Posted October 25, 2015 You do have a point. Sometimes though more players can actually be a boon, as the more there are (up to a logical limit of course), the greater the chance of someone posting at any given time and moving the action forward even when others are not online or able to post at the moment. Though that would require a sort of post/time limit before the GM steps up and DMPCs a character that has taken too long to act (usually players are expected to post at least once in a 24- or 48-hour period, after which the GM posts for them). It can also help with the occasional player dropping out, which tends to happen with PbPs. And I do not envy him either. I never envy GMs trying to figure out who to get and who to leave out. One of the reasons I do not GM PbP games.
Kymrel 1,505 Posted October 25, 2015 I've updated both Padawan and Knight slightly, mostly the background and fiddling with some skills. I've added a rank in brawl and athletics and some background about studying Teräs Käsi to let off steam. This is what happens when I have soooo much time to think about a character, the concept gets developed further and further until I start playing
ColonelCommissar 1,243 Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) I've sorted out both my characters. Hotshot has his full loadout of gear, and I've given his background a once-over to tighten it up. I've put in languages, and spent a lot of credits on attachments. Do you guys think a recon remote (DC p.57) will come in handy? As for Treyan Vos'ka, he has a rank of Discipline as I took down his Mechanics. He's still got plenty of room to grow yet. Rakaydos 4,236 Posted October 26, 2015 (edited) The younger knights and masterless padawans wait in the Jedi library, the librarian fussing about, as Master Obi Wan begins handing out asignments. The Clone wars was new, the battle lines drawn only only months before, and the temple was spreading itself thin, even rushing some padawans through their trials to get more leaders on the field as the Clone Army's ranks swelled. "Treyan Vos'ka, despite your penchant for...improving your troops gear, you have done well in this war so far. You will be leading several jedi and a unit of clones to Navarion. The CIS have allied with one of the local clans and driven the others into full retreat. You will meet with Istvan Koebis, one on the locals, and rally the other clans. "Darex Nezuma, Ki-Von-Ahn, with your trials now complete, I welcome you as Jedi Knights. You will accompany Treyan to Navarion. "Padawan Tabithia Lecala," he called. "Your master speaks well of you, and expects you to do well in the trials when you feel you are ready. I'm afraid these young men will need your guidance in the days ahead more than Master Timan does. "The four of you will liason with the Clone Sergent CT-72-0114 and requisition transport. Understood?" Master Obi wan waited for a responce, then moved to the next assignment, more jedi to be parceled out across the galaxy. --------------------- This can continue as an OOC thread- I'll be putting an IC thread up later on. Istvan isnt with you yet- you'll meet shortly after landing. Istvan can use Pressure point on droids if he uses Mechanics insead of Medicine.
