Kyla 1,411 Posted October 29, 2015 I went to Saberforge as well, though Ultrasabers have some really cool ones too

Jereru 171 Posted October 29, 2015 The Jiddeyes are (finally) out of the ship. Shall I leave control of the NPCs to the GM now? Btw, Mother Shuzal is not there cause she is quiet elderly. Besides, these are practical people - diplomacy is... let's call it straightforward... in Navarion.

Besides, these are practical people - diplomacy is... let's call it straightforward... in Navarion. Is diplomacy code for 'whoever punches the hardest gets what they want?' Jereru 171 Posted October 29, 2015 We're not much fond of long starters, yeah. We go straight for main course. 1 ColonelCommissar reacted to this

Jereru 171 Posted October 30, 2015 (edited) Me, on the confirmation to my question. But I guess I'll just step up... Edit: In case someone finds my colours eye-damaging, just so you know, I'll only use them while I'm still talking for different NPCs. When I finally focus on my char, I'll just use good ol' black. Kirdan Kenobi 167 Posted October 30, 2015 I took a couple liberties with the nature of the science and history of the planet in my post. I hope that's okay.I said the yellow water came from minerals because that seemed to make the most sense to me (that could easily color water), I said the red sky came from light scattering, because that's why Mars' sky is red, and I said there hadn't been many visitors, because otherwise, the tech level of the planet would likely be much higher. Jereru 171 Posted October 31, 2015 I meant the colour of my fonts But yes, please, that was totally my intention: to provide some flavour to our planet. I'm basing most things in a home made background we use, but this is just a different Navarion. It's here for Raykados and you to use. Let's make it our own. Rakaydos 4,236 Posted October 31, 2015 sorry, work came up suddently. In case the rest of you havnt noticed, I'm not a very verbose GM. With this many long-posting players, I prefer to set up situations where you can interact, and feed you infomation that leads to action, whether it's a meeting with local notables, or a clone trooper announcing an approaching force. ColonelCommissar 1,243 Posted October 31, 2015 or a clone trooper announcing an approaching force. Is that a warning?
Rakaydos 4,236 Posted October 31, 2015 Only when I decide the conversation is starting to go in circles... My job is to keep things interesting, and right now all you guys are plenty interesting on your own.
ColonelCommissar 1,243 Posted October 31, 2015 So we could go to the main meeting ourselves if we wanted? Because I was waiting for you on that. I guess I'm used to GMs who want to keep the story going under their own steam.
Jereru 171 Posted October 31, 2015 I'm ok with that. But you will play the NPCs, won't you? Please...

I'd rather not be dragging players through plot- i'm liable to lose interest if I have to fight your goals. or something. 1 ColonelCommissar reacted to this
Rakaydos 4,236 Posted November 1, 2015 ... unfortunately, If I miss a few updates, i seem to get lost. Can someone summarize what's happened so far, without the purple (and pink and red) Prose? I'm trying to figure out where to jump in, and am being buried under my player's walls of text!

Rakaydos 4,236 Posted November 1, 2015 Old woman is a vilage elder of the clan with which specialty? Does she know kung fu?
Jereru 171 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Clan Shu has old and wise women, you know, seers and the thing. Clan Ubseth has strong warriors who act as the seers bodyguards. They are assigned to one of them when they are young, and the link lasts for life, so probably Kulada the Ubseth has been protecting Mother Shuzal for over 30 years. Now, some people can use the Force (Istvan Master could, as they are a "spin off" from the Jedi Order). But only some. Whether Mother Shuzal is truly a Seer or just a very wise and experienced lady, that's up to you. After all, you've got a plot, right? Edit: Sorry - Mother Shuzal's Cult (The Birth-giving Water) is usually specialized in healing and/or illusions. Usually.
