I write here because this topic involves custom non official rules, and this is disturbing to some die hard fans.

I love As, and I think that the game is better if the named pilots ocupy the roles of squad leaders or veterans, better 6 generics and two named than viceversa

And A pilots are only PS 1 and 3. Wrote about it months ago. Rebelion's finest pilots, they said back in the 80s.. So in our games there are Purple Squadron pilots, PS 5. As we play escenarios 90%, we make custom upgrade cards selection. It is not uncommon to see a powerful EPT like Predator plus a use and discard one ( like Adrenaline Rush ) on the same pilot. This is not a thread to optimice EPTs or jousting value, we do not flight high tournament profile list very often.

I would like to know what you would like to see in PS 5 As, or even Es. Not the most intimidating.combo of EPTs, more about taste than simply the best combo

Something I've been considering for a while is Lightning Reflexes on A-Wings. I know they can already turn 180 pretty easily as is, but LR throws in a whole new wrench.

Yep, there are generic PS 6 Interceptor pilots, and the best generic Defenders are PS 3 ( And only one upgrade ). This is one of the beauties of playing in a closed environment with your friends, you can change this as you wish, and better if you play escenarios.

From time to time I think if we would try to open our gaming group, but if it is not broken.... Do not fix it.

As, Es and Defenders have PS 5 generics. Lets talk about.strong tematic.builds for PS 5 As

The thing about As is, they are one of the only generic pilots to have an ept spot. PS3s while being only PS3, have 2 ept slots so this kind of makes them still elites even with low PS skill.

It also bothers me that the E-Wing generics are skill 1 and 3, despite it being a premier star fighter above the X-Wing
