Tremerton 0 Posted September 25, 2015 New GM here! Is it possible to utilize "Move & shoot" role bonus to make a half move action up to an enemy and shoot at point blank range (half action move subtype) and then attack with melee weapon (standard attack half action) ? unless the melee weapon has a range (whips etc), does this mean that you have to be right next to the foe for a melee attack? Does this mean that to utilize the point blank range you have to stand at least 1 meter apart to not be considered engaged in melee and lose the point blank bonus? Subquestion; Can the initiator of the move and shoot as stated above move up to an enemy and shoot twice (one from move and shoot + standard attack) at point blank? Or will he be considered engaged in melee? Or does that happen first when the foe attacks back with a melee attack? Thank you!
Alox 107 Posted September 25, 2015 Move and Shoot count as having the attack subtype. Check the FAQ under the support section. You are by RAW engaged in melee as soon as the range is zero, even if you do not intend to engage in melee.
Flail-Bot 93 Posted September 25, 2015 I'd allow it. Except that you're making two attack subtype actions in 1 turn, which is a no-no. 1 Talon of Anathrax reacted to this
