Leopold Cygnus 0 Posted October 14, 2009 I may just be blind, but I've spent the past hour trying to find where the book says how to determine a character's starting number of wounds. I saw that Noble-Born characters get an additional +D5 but nothing else on the subject. Can anybody with better (and younger) eyes help me out? Thank you. Arbentur 0 Posted October 14, 2009 Double your starting Toughness bonus and add 1d5 is the full line.
dvang 10 Posted October 14, 2009 All the Home World entries have a Starting Wounds section. They are all "Double Toughness Bonus and add .. 1d5+X". Most are a flat 1d5, but some are more (Death World is the most, at 1d5+2)
Leopold Cygnus 0 Posted October 15, 2009 Aaaah - I seem to be... not smart. I read that as ALWAYS doubling the toughness bonus and then adding +X to starting wounds - I guess it would help if I read the section heading. It makes a lot more sense now. Thank you! You are not alone sir, I did exactly the same and the only thing that made me realise my error was when I couldn't find a chart for determining wounds
