My attempt to bring back the x-wing failed miserably, but then the two beers and bad flying had a large contribution to my night of fail. Here is stab at a 4 ship scum list, flying Kavil and Thug, and two Kihraxz. Thinking of flying them as two pairs, but it might be better to keep them together and focus fire. I am still new at this, so learning as I go. Fuego Estelar 401 Posted September 21, 2015 It does not have any sense to put engine upgrade in Kavil, because if you boost one round, yo can´t focus, and if you can´t focus you can´t fire the blaster turret. Shirako 353 Posted September 22, 2015 Predator and R4 Aggro work against each other. One of them should go. When you spend that focus you get a TL, but you're also spending 3 points for Predator which is completely redundant if you have a TL (which you will if you're shooting your blaster turret) I would swap the agromech for unhinged to open up Kavil's dial. CBowser 140 Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) I agree with Shirako, take the unhinged. Changing the 3 turn from red to green is very nice. You won't fear doing a k-turn nearly as much. I have to admit that I like to have at least a couple of cheap ships to throw out there. I like the TLT combined with Kavil. I have a few veriations on this list but found the to be very affective you focus on the forst shot and get a target lock for the second adding an ion bomb to then helps fill in the doughnut hole. if any one makes it into range 1 you can ion them and speed away Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Very expensive, however, so if you really want to make it work, you need to make sure the rest of your list packs a punch. Here's a couple options: Scyk, Scyk, Kavil: 2 Tansari Pt Vets w/ 'heavy scyk', HLC, predator (or push the limit) and hull upgrade = 32 x 2 Kavil w/ PtL, unhinged, engine + blaster = 36 100 Twin Laser overdrive: 2 Hired Guns w/ R4 agromech, engine + twin laser turrets = 32 x 2 Kavil w/ PtL, unhinged, engine + blaster = 36 Pirate Swarm: 2 binayre pirates w/ feedback array = 14 x 2 3 binayre priates = 12 x 3 Kavil w/ PtL, unhinged, engine + blaster = 36 100 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Orrrrr... since boosting at PS2 may not be that useful, you can add Shield Upgrades to all of them so that your opponent has to deal with 36 hit points.
