awayputurwpn 7,720 Posted October 21, 2015 Did I not take cover last turn? Also, ouch. You did! I missed it because it was in black text with the rest of your narration. Must pay better attention I fixed the attack for you...it's one less damage now, so you should be at 12 wounds total out of 15. Who's taking the first PC turn? BigSpoon 373 Posted October 22, 2015 Kell tilted his head looking down at the droid he'd just finished off, the blinking vocabulator drawing his attention "That is odd....why is that light still-" His thought was cut off by the whir of servo's and crashing of mechanical feet on duracrete pavement. He looked up just in time to see Marsten come flying at him, barely having time enough to deactivate his still humming lightsaber so he didn't impale his friend when they collided. Kell took most of the cyborg's weight to his chest, landing heavily but rolling backwards, letting Marsten slide off to one-side as the droid stood above them. Rolling heels over head, Kell regained his feet in a three-point crouch, he re-ignited his saber and launched himself up at the droid, battering at its defenses before landing a hit to it's torso. Turning to shout to Marsten: "Marsten! Help the others, I can handle this one!" Parrying the blow, the dauntless droid engaged the Nautolan in an attempt to run him through with his massive vibrosword. A glancing blow was scored, but the Jedi simply spun out of it and delivered another deft cut to the droid's exposed chassis. It was only a matter of time before the hulking war droid toppled over. OtterJethro 58 Posted November 3, 2015 Tahiri reflects a number of shots and senses the troopers frustration that they are unable to make him fall. Tahiri strikes the the remaining trooper next to him and quickly manuevers his way to the final three troopers. He strikes down the first of the three troopers and positions himself for what he assumes will be another volley of blaster fire. 1eA+2eP+1eB+3eD: 3 successes, 3 advantage (+1 advantage for Superior for a total of 4). Tahiri strikes the first the first trooper for 10 stun damage (the remaining trooper at engaged range). Tahiri strikes the second trooper for 9 stun damage. It cost 1 advantage to activate the second attack and I will use the remaining 3 advantage to recover 3 strain. That leaves me at 7/15 wounds and reduces my strain to 5/15. awayputurwpn 7,720 Posted November 4, 2015 The turn is mostly good. Technically what happened is that you caused 10 damage to your engaged trooper, he remained standing, and some of the next 9 damage took him down (and the rest carried over, since it's a minion group). One trooper down total, and the other three are still standing. Next PC please!

maverikid 15 Posted November 6, 2015 (edited) As the Dark Knight hammered on his own defenses, Dev'rios realized that that very moment might've been his last. He thought about how much he still needed to accomplish in his own personal life. He thought about what else his sister might get away with back with CorSec. Suddenly the Dark Knight kicked him in the gut, cracking a few ribs. The Dark Knight was about to deliver the final blow before Dev'rios was able to put up his blade just in time. BAM! Though Dev'rios had put up his blade, he did not put enough force behind his would-be parry. Ironically, his own saber came too close to his face, nearly blinding Dev'rios instead of protecting him. As he fell to his knee, he felt a few muscles, tendons, and ligaments turning the wrong way. "First some broken ribs, then blindness, now a twisted knee!?" Devrios thought. Then Lavin came over and everything was better. As his bones and bruises began to heal, Dev'rios could see his sight coming back slowly. As Dev'rios started to stand up, he saw Kell in battle with another Dark Knight. Thinking that was the same one that had caused all that damage, Dev'rios started to charge forward, holding his lightsaber in a Makashi grip. He lifted his blade and... The Dark Knight seemed to cock its head like, That's all you got? Dev'rios flourished his blade and readied himself for an attack. He looked behind him to see on the roof, another Dark Knight. Dev'rios tried to send a thought to Lavin. < Lavin, I don't know if you can hear me, but I think you should tell Kell to go to the roof and challenge that Knight. Kell looks like the only one athletic enough to reach the roof. > Dev'rios uses the Advantage to remove one strain. BigSpoon 373 Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) A shower of sparks exploded from his lightsaber as Kell parried another blow from the Knight, shuffling backwards and riposting a blow that the machine caught on its vibroblade, Kell backed up again. In the brief lull he'd created for himself, he took a few precious seconds to pull a stim pack from his belt, jamming it quickly into his thigh with a grimace, the concoction of stimulants and chemicals flooding through his system, rejuvenating his spent muscles and aching wounds. Catching sight of Hal over the droids left shoulder just in time to see the pair of stormtroopers open fire, their blaster bolts blowing apart his cover and ripping through his mechanical body "HAAAAAAAAAL" Kell shouted as the droid fell to the ground, distracting him long enough for the Knight he was fighting to strike at him while his defenses were down. The vibroblade came slicing through the air at his neck, Kell's eyes widening as he brought his blue blade up to stop himself from getting decapitated, deflecting the blow so that it took a cut of his shoulder, rather than his head. Stifling a cry of pain, he growled and launched himself back on the offensive, viciously battering aside the droid's sword and striking a solid blow leaving another trail of melting durasteel in the wake of his glowing weapon. awayputurwpn 7,720 Posted November 13, 2015 Well that 3 Threat needs to become 3 strain! Attacking Kell: 4eP+3eD 1 success, 2 threat, 1 Triumph That's 9 damage (minus soak). Kell can take a free maneuver for the threat, and the Triumph has disengaged the Dark Trooper and placed him atop the roof with the other. They are, apparently, fleeing. , Kell was now dangerously close to passing out, as the Dark Knight parried his attack and swung again, this time at Kell's midsection. However, the attack did not go as planned. Kell twisted out of the way, receiving the brunt of the strike on his lightsaber. The Dark Knight had left itself open, and even as Kell prepared a vicious counterattack to the droid, it ignited its jumpjets and flew to the relative safety of the roof. The troop transport began to lower its altitude, and its guns began to spit out covering fire. Chunks of duracrete flew as large blaster bolts slammed into the pavement at the heroes' feet. All PC checks will be upgraded once due to the blaster cannons firing in your direction (spending a dark side destiny point for each PC action). Next PC please! Jereru 171 Posted November 17, 2015 Lavin tries to reach H4L and drag him to cover, but the pinning fire is too heavy. He wonders what has happened with the Anselmi elders, as well. BigSpoon 373 Posted November 17, 2015 "Stay down!" Kell shouted as the deep bass crescendo of the transports guns opened up, filling the street with the incandescent light of heavy weapons fire. He took his own advice and headed for cover, weaving like a hatchling drunk on Kalphon squid ink as chunks of duracrete sprayed up into the air, covering him with dirt and little chunks of street. A nearby blast nearly knocked him from his feet and sent him stumbling into the side of an airspeeder. Turning the bumble into a roll over the hood of the speeder he hunkered down on the opposite side, keeping his head down and pulling his commlink from his belt he thumbed it on. When the transport guns opened up, Marsten quickly slipped over to Hal, holstering his blaster before hoisting the droid over his shoulder in a groan. "They are leaving!" He shouted out. "I don't like it." He added, moving with Hal to find cover inside the tavern. Once there, he watched the goings on outside while taking stock of the group. "Someone get Hal's gun. I'll get him to the ship. Patch him up." He relayed after seeing the scene calm down. maverikid 15 Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) Attacking Stormtroopers: 2eA+1eP+2eC 1 success, 1 threat Heeding Kell's advice, Dev'rios dove into some nearby cover to get away from that infernal transport's guns. If The Order was fleeing, Dev'rios would make sure he would take out some troops in the process. When the guns started to focus their fire somewhere else, Dev'rios took out his blaster and aimed in the direction of the Stormtroopers still on the ground. It was difficult to see through all the dust and rubble flying everywhere, but he managed to make out two figures in the distance. "This is for you, Hal." Dev'rios thought. Realizing the transport's cannons began to focus on his position once again, he quickly let off two shots and ducked back into cover just in time, hoping his shots found their targets. Dev'rios took two strain to perform two maneuvers, one to take cover and one to draw his pistol. If that one threat counts as one more strain, then he should be at 5/12W 13/15S. BigSpoon 373 Posted November 27, 2015 Kell re-attaches his lightsaber to his belt, and stumbles back towards the landspeeder where he left his rifle, slinging it over his back he limps back towards the group. His black eyes checking the perimeter as they tend to Hal. Wincing slightly as his adrenaline from the battle begins to subside and he feels the full extent of his injuries, he turns back to the group. "Once Hal is back online, we need to ex-filtrate back to the ship. The Imps will be coming back and we need to not be here when they do. They've got Dev'rios, we need to report back to Command." Kell stood off to oneside as they slapped another repair patch on Hal, pulling his comlink from his belt and activating it.
