Brucewayne 15 Posted September 15, 2015 Do we need both Skye and Roll20? I know Roll20 has built in voice chat, but I've never used it so maybe it doesn't work very well or something?
Daeglan 5,950 Posted September 15, 2015 Do Roll20 over google hang outs it works awesome and has a die roller for the system that also tracks destiny points. Just need the GM to set up a roll20 game and invite everyone. I have previous plans for this eve. But if the GM needs help getting set up ping me a pm and I can help get it set up for them. Thenger 13 Posted September 16, 2015 Okay, so can we get a headcount on who would be good for a Tuesday evening game starting at 8:30 pm CST? Also, I will plan on running all of the pre-published adventures as mentioned earlier, which means we will not be starting as knight level characters. Suggested order for the adventures is like this: 1. Lessons from the Past (F&D Core rulebook) 2. Hidden Depths (F&D GM Kit) After the conclusion of the 2nd adventure, the characters will have all the components necessary to craft their lightsabers. We can then move on to: 3. Mountaintop Rescue (F&D Beginner's Box Set) 4. Lure of The Lost (F&D downloadable adventure) 5. Chronicles of the Gatekeeper (F&D adventure book) If everyone will be playing Jedi, we would need to determine some sort of plot device as to why the group survived the purge. If we can start nailing down logistics, I'll set up a date to have my server online and we can have a character generation session. How does this sounds? And I by no means want to hijack the campaign if you guys want to do something different. I wouldn't mind being a pc if someone else wants to GM and we decide to do a knight level campaign. As mentioned, I've never played this ruleset, so this will be a big learning curve for me, but it sounds fun. Hopefully you can start a bit earlier then 8:30, is 7pm CST okay with you? That way I can play for at least three hours before having to jump off any voice chat so she go to sleep. And if your still interested in running the game that would be great. zenile 0 Posted September 16, 2015 Hey guys - I just saw this. I'm travelling for work the next 2 weeks. I could host a session this weekend as I get back on Friday night or the next best bet would be Tuesday in 2 weeks.
zenile 0 Posted September 16, 2015 I can get the site up, but I'm on wifi so not sure how the connection will work. I also don't have my mic or headset tonight either
Thenger 13 Posted September 16, 2015 Okay cool, and I understand. Don't want you to go out of your way cause work is well work. A few of us gathered up today to work on our characters and what not. We just jumped up on roll20 and used the google hangout ability that comes with the site. If there are any rules we need to know before hand, and I would like to take a few and talk to you about your plans on running the adventures out of the F&D book. I ran it for my group so I won't be doing any meta gaming, so if I don't contribute to some of the conversations is I don't want to let anything slip by accident. Hope you understand, once we get to the more new things I will be way more active.
Daeglan 5,950 Posted September 16, 2015 I can do this weekend.
Brucewayne 15 Posted September 16, 2015 I could do Friday night, but Saturday will be iffy. I'm possibly running a game for my friends depending on their schedule. Would Friday night work?
Thenger 13 Posted September 16, 2015 May be able to do Friday but that would be the only day this weekend. And Friday is iffy, depends on what's going on.
Brucewayne 15 Posted September 17, 2015 So are we all up for a game tomorrow night?

Sadly, I think Zenile said he won't be able to make it for the next two weeks and since he's the GM we'll need to wait until then.
Thenger 13 Posted September 21, 2015 So I want to make sure, we are starting next Tuesday the 29th and not tomorrow? Ran another 8 hour session, can't wait to actually play this game.

Thenger 13 Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) I am good for tomorrow.. as for the GM though I am unsure, sent him a PM a couple days ago and no responce... so say the time, and unless something else is stated, guess we can jump on my google hangouts in roll20. PS: I can start later and play later then 10pm CST since she has off on Wednesday. Edited September 29, 2015 by Thenger
