gran_orco 41 Posted September 3, 2015 In the page 13 of the "learn to play" book, it says During this step, players can also sell any Item cards that they already own. To sell a card, Rebel players receive an amount of credits equal to half the card’s cost. Then shuffle that card back into the appropriate Item deck. However, in the page 21 of the rules reference, it says Heroes can sell any of the Item cards they already own. Each sold card is returned to the game box. Which sentence is correct? DerBaer 1,223 Posted September 4, 2015 May the Item deck be located in the game box? Is there really a difference between those two?
gran_orco 41 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) May the Item deck be located in the game box? Is there really a difference between those two? Normally, when a component is returned to the box, it is removed from the game and it cannot be used again. This is the case These are some examples: Agenda missions are returned to the game box when discarded or completed. When an Agenda card is discarded, it is returned to the game box and is not used for the remainder of the campaign. All Deployment cards not in initial, reserved, or open groups are returned to the game box and not used during this mission. Return the Mission card corresponding to the mission that was just resolved to the game box. A figure can interact with a door to open it. He removes the door from the map and returns it to the game box. So I wanted to know if any sold item could be purchased again or not. Reading the answer of MikeNYHC, it seems that it should be removed from game. Edited September 4, 2015 by gran_orco
thestag 751 Posted September 4, 2015 I second the notion that you return sold items to the game box where they couldn't be purchased again. Besides, why would you want to sell something for half price just to buy it again later? I could see sellers remorse, but there's no guarantee you'll draw that item again anyways. Norgrath 382 Posted September 9, 2015 Card>RRG>LTP. Interesting to think about where rulings fit in that. Theoretically it should be Card Ruling>Card>General Ruling>RRG>LTP but where do we put it with people who don't see the site.
