Laserbeaks Fury 0 Posted December 3, 2008 A few questions about challenges. 1) Can you declare a challenge and kneel a 0 Str character as the only attacker? 2) If a challenge is started, no defenders are assigned, and the attacking force has 0 Str during resolution, who wins and who loses? Old Ben 0 Posted December 3, 2008 1. Yes, that´s possible as long as the charachter has the correspondending icon for the challenge you want to declare. 2. A challenge with zero strength on every side doesn´t have a result. So if you attack with a zero strength charachter you should take the opportunity to raise the strength of the zero strength charachter or have something like the multiplayer tites that let´s you count some "general strength" for your side in the challenge. All you need to declare an attacker is a character with an elligible icon (or a permissive ability). The challenge isn't won or lost, it simply ends. Neither player wins, no claim effect occurs, but the challenge was declared (an therefore the player can't declare another one). Rheingold 0 Posted December 24, 2009 So does deadly still resolve, even if the attacker had zero strength?
dormouse 1 Posted December 24, 2009 Yes. Since the keyword does not mention a STR of one or more as being a requirement for it having 0 STR in no way prevents the keyword from resolving normally.

Of course, there often is not a participating defending character to kill with Deadly when the attacking STR is 0....
