Okay guys, here's an idea. Go ahead and take 20 XP and 1,000 credits a piece. Outfit yourselves and then post here with your completed character builds.

Yes, I wasn't getting any updates for this thread...I'll just have to keep it pinned to Google Now (I think I can do that) and keep an eye on it. 

 

As to the question of whether we have any Sentinels, the answer is no! We've got a Hired Gun (if Crazy Aido returns), a Warrior, a Guardian, a Consular, and a Seeker. 

 

What specs were you thinking of for a Sentinel career?

I'm glad we got the extra xp. I was 5 short of the Dedication talent I wanted. I had 20 banked so I spent the 40 on getting Dedication (Intellect) and picking up Improved Parry for the other 15. I'm not going to spend any credits at the moment as I want to use them to craft an armor and I'm not sure now is the appropriate time to make that check.

I didn't know what to spend the money into, apart from some extra Stims, honestly.

Ha, sorry, I opened all the PC sheets and yours is in Gdrive instead of swsheets (which is of course fine), so I just totally glossed over it  :P

Hey, sorry I haven't posted for awhile. Would it be alright if I redo my character Away? The backstory will be the same, but I just don't think the Career I chose truly suited the character. I would like to become a Sentinel, and take the Shadow specialization to be the sneaky one in the group, and maybe take the Artisan specialization while I'm at it. If I can do that, would I still be allowed to use the extra 20 xp?

 

If the smuggler counts as the sneaky one in the group, I can try something else. But I would really like to do something different for a change, since whenever I do a Force and Destiny campaign I always either choose to be the Warrior/Lightsaber Specialist or end up being it. I would like to try something a little different, especially since the Sentinel Sourcebook has just been announced.

I hope this is better than my first attempt. The character should make a little more sense, and now that he is a Sentinel the backstory and character should match better. Oh yeah, and I decided to take Shien Expert instead. I'm not sure I'm ready to be completely useless with a lightsaber!

Where did you get the credits for the Mod IV cyber arm?

We discussed it in our personal message chat. You stated that it would cost 2000 credits for an arm, so I decided to get those through the Morality option (the ability to get +2500 starting credits) and that left me with 500 plus some extra 50 credits. And just to clarify, I decided to spend the 1000 credits you gave us recently to buy some armored clothing. The rest I used to get the Scanner Goggles and Tool kit. So now I have no credits.

Ah! Gotcha, I see where the confusion lies. 

 

The 2,000 credit cost is for a cybernetic replacement limb; it is essentially a simple prosthesis like a droid arm. Mechanically, it just turns your arm into a piece of equipment. Narratively, you can have look pretty much however you want—it can be like Anakin's arm at the end of Attack of the Clones (or Luke's hand in The Force Awakens) where it's all droid-like, or more like Luke's hand in Empire or Jedi where it's covered in synthflesh. But it does not confer any Characteristic increases (or skills or talents) all by itself. 

 

A Mod VI Cyber-arm is 10,000 credits, so definitely within reach of a Knight-Level Character, but it'd be, like, all your credits and then some :) And no lightsaber to show for your troubles (Breach 1 is most definitely worth the price of admission).

 

Now, if you wanted to try and finagle something involving a Mod VI in-game...well then, that would be a fun adventure!

Oh, thanks for the clarification. Alright, I changed Agility back to 3 and specified that it is a replacement limb in the equipment section. So I guess I am ready to go.

 

How many people are we still waiting on? If there is just one or two people missing, perhaps it would be best to start the game while we wait?
