Thank you for your kind words.

I recreated the FFG templates to be able to create those cards as fast as i can.

I considered to create a website app (with one of my friends) for that as well but i am affraid that will hurt the copyrights of FFG so i gave up that idea.

Amazing! Would you be eager to share those templates? I would like to use them to translate all the awesome custom cards (including yours) to Polish so I could play them with my friends.

App would be awesome, or just plug-in for Strange Eons.

So I haven't actually posted a figure here in a while so here's an idea for Dooku.

Count Dooku

Seperatist Leader

8

 Force User-Leader-Brawler

S: +1d, Pierce 1, S: gain 1 block token, S: gain 1 evade token, S: gain 1 damage token

Foresight

Duelist: While attacking, if no figure other than the target is within 2 spaces of you or the target, add +1 S to the attack results.

Health: 13, Speed: 4, Defense: W, Attack: BRG

If i got the premission from FFG to create that plugin i consider it:)

(I already asked for it)

And i dont made any ideas for those cards. Just did the graphic part.

star-wars-battlefront-11182016.jpg

I did a Gonk droid on the first page of this thread I think, but now that companions are a thing, I think that would work better for a Gonk.

The gonk would probably need to be brought into play via some card like Salacious Crumb's Indentured Servant.

Here are a couple of ideas for the best droid in Star Wars.

GNK Power Droid

Droid

Power Boost: When an adjacent friendly figure is attacking, you may become stunned to add 2 Damage to the attack results. You may not use this ability if you are stunned.

Health: 5
Speed: 2
Defense: --
Attack: --

This version is inspired by the gonk droid from the original Battlefront games that refills your ammo.

OR (depending on how the new tokens work)

GNK Power Droid

Droid

--> Power Boost: An adjacent friendly figure gains [DAMAGE POWER TOKEN]. Then you become stunned. You may not use this ability if you are stunned.

Health: 5
Speed: 2
Defense: --
Attack: --

Unstable Gonk Droid

Droid

+ 1 Block

-- > Rigged to Blow: Roll a red and a green die. All adjacent figures suffer damage equal to the damage results. Then you are defeated

Health: 8
Speed: 2
Defense: --
Attack: --

This one is inspired by the Gonk in Force Arena. It just trundles towards its target until it blows up.

Well i got the answer. First of all FFG Customer Service is super nice and super fast!

They remind me that i maybe have problems with Disney in that case so i should ask them.

Knowing that Disney has a strict policy for copyrights i think createing a Strange Eons plugin for IA is not a good idea

do other FFG games have plugins there though? I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.

I'm not very familiar with how it works, but I would imagine that what they'd be most concerned about with the copyright is the artwork, moreso than the card layout.

Well Arkham Horror storries has a plugin. (Dont know the creator asked for premission or not)

And there is a story on the web how a Game Worksop themed plugin was stopped.

Well the AA card for nationals has inspired a skirmish attachment.

DAOLp8LVYAAtgGo.jpg

Drink Tray

Attachment

Droid Only (or R2 only)

Exhaust this card during your activation. Choose one friendly adjacent figure. Remove all harmful conditions from that figure.

"Well I can see you're serving drinks."

Cost: 1

I tried to make it Kraken like. Hopes it works :)

I'm not sure how the Dianoga is supposed to work. Why are there three figures if only one can attack? Do you need to kill all 3 of them to deefat it? (You're also missing the health value.)

The Dive ability should probably allow it to hide, since the main flavor of it is a monster from the depths - you never know where it will attack from.

These are a pretty cool idea - but I think they would probably have to be skirmish-only. A 3-cost, 3-figure group that has 9HP is really, really strong in campaign. Their attack isn't great, but you have so many abilities in campaign that can buff your figures that it would be easy to make these a big threat. Imagine these with the Guild Hunters class card? That would be impossible for the rebels to deal with.

Thanks for feedback

I imagined a 3 figure but 1 creature thing.

I mean its long parts can be anywhere but we talk about the same creature

Still working on it. Any more feedback will be welcommed

No, I kind of like how there are 3 figures but only one can attack each turn- but all three need to be defeated (though, maybe it cannot be reinforced?)

That's pretty unique.

That being said, I'd probably want to see two other abilities that it can do each turn, otherwise it seems kind of like a waste.  Maybe either the ability to make itself hidden, the ability to focus itself, or the ability to throw a character or deal some small amount of direct damage.

Or something like this:

Drown: Choose a nearby figure- that figure tests Physical.  If it fails, it becomes stunned.  Then, place it in a space within 2 spaces contianing difficult terrain.

I like this idea - driving home the Imperial Spy card manipulation idea. Does it seem a little weak though, for its cost? If you compare it to Chopper, is the Network Spying ability really that much better than System Shock that you need to lose 2 HP and 1 Speed, and not be able to attack?

I like the communication droid. I think could take network spying a step further and allow the communication droid to suffer strain to exhaust the card, similar to Blaise. maybe a minimum of 1 strain, then equal to the card cost. if you give him health around 5, that prevents him from burning all of the opponents cards and keeps him from being too overpowered. Blaise and the droid would be a powerful combo, and actually would negate some of the mercenary and Rebels ability to draw more cards than the empire can currently.

Hitting a 0-cost card would also do nothing except you now know it's there.

If you changed it to looking at their hand and choosing a card, it might be better. But given that you are giving your opponent the option to either discard the card, take damage on the figure, or discard cards from their deck, it's actually very weak. They're always going to choose the least harmful of those three options, and that's a lot of options.

I like your Death Trooper idea. Have you considered making them Trooper/Guardian?  They seem to be bodyguards or on some leaders protective detail.  Could change At Your Command to Forward Vengeance.  Maybe even change Advanced Squad Training to something like gain Resourceful when within 3 space of a friendly leader? It would be really cool if they had Executor, but then they might have to cost more.

Forward Vengeance: When an adjacent friendly non-guardian figure is defeated, you become Focused and may move 1 space.

Resourceful: While attacking or defending, you may re-roll 1 of your attack or defense dice.

Executor: When a friendly figure within 3 space is defeated, this figure may interrupt to move 2 spaces and then preform an attack. Limit once per round.

These power token surges are interesting... But what if Dooku could get power tokens from passive defensive abilities instead of surges? I'm just thinking of Dooku's defensive lightsaber style full of parries and ripostes - that got me thinking about the Parry and Riposte abilities that Fighters can take in 5th Edition D&D and I used those as a starting point:

Parry: After defending, if you suffered damage from the attack, you may receive one [block power token] if you don't already have one.

Riposte: After defending, if you did not suffer damage from the attack, you may receive one [damage power token] if you don't already have one.

Or, another interesting idea would be abilities that spend power tokens for alternate effects? That could be real flavorful on a duelist like Dooku, converting defense into an offensive maneuver and vice versa:

Parry: When defending, you may spend 1 [damage power token] to add 2 (?) evade results.

Lunge: Action - Spend a [block power token] to move up to 4 spaces and then perform an attack.

(Not sure how powerful it ends up being, depends on how easy it is to get tokens - in this case you probably need the power token surges still, or else some other passive or active ability.)
