From the quotes on Memory alpha it can be taken to say that Khan designed the torpedoes, and knew about the Vegneance's specifications because he worked closely with the ship.... Either way, the technical quagmire of all this is not enough to ruin my enjoyment of the film. And we are off topic... perhaps we should open the discussion on the trekBBS for this? well at least off-topic is the only way to be "on topic" for this part of the forum.
