Mist Hunter Vs. 3P0

Recommended Posts

Doesnt really pan out that way.

If shooting at a Falcon, they still guess zero, which guarantees 1 evade still. The extra dice just gives them the potential of two evades.

It changes from this with "guess zero":

Roll zero evades = 3P0 kicks in = 1 net evade

Roll 1 Evade = 1 net evade

To this:

Roll zero evades = 3P0 kicks in = 1 net evade

Roll 1 Evade = 1 net evade

Roll 2 Evades = 2 net evades

So hardly an advantage against 3P0. The extra dice is nice though, and does increase the average damage a bit.

However, from the Falconeer's point of view, 3p0 isn't doing as much to defend against this attack as he would against another, so 3p0 isn't going to activate against Zuckuss, unless you have no other attackers.

Which is grand, because Zuckuss is going to be dealing more damage v 2 agility than he would against 1 and 3p0.

Also, trolly as hell if your other attackers have a bead on a ship other than the Falcon as well, so that you can use your full damage in a world where 3p0 never activated, and throw your opponent into a right tizzy.

Very true. It certainly changes the timing of when 3P0 will be used, at least if there are other decent threats to follow up the Mist Hunter.
