No news on order shipment yet...generally it takes a good 5 business days to get to me in California once I get a tracking number, so I will have to wait until mid next week likely. I'm really hoping MM will ship it today. They usually ship more or less the same time as CSI, so I'm puzzled by the delay (or CSI's speed) this time. Desslok 13,571 Posted July 29, 2015 Oh the horrors. I called the game store here near work - they had F&D in stock. The trouble is, it's the full 60 bucks. If I wait a day or so for the game store near my house to get it in, it'll probably be 50-ish bucks. Is the extra 10 bucks worth the 24 hours or so cooling my heels? No one within 100 miles of me will carry it, so I'll have to order it online. At least it will be cheaper, but I won't get it until late next week. Does anyone know if I got a copy of Edge of the Empire now as apposed to when they first came out would it be the updated reprint with the errors they found taken out or be the same as when I first got my copy? There are currently three printings of the Edge of the Empire Core Rulebook. The first printing has an insert and the second and third printings have the insert included in the book itself. If you want to make sure you've got the latest printing, (as of 29 July, 2015) make sure you get the one with the Disney logo on the back and the code "S14205" in the bottom right corner of the UPC area. Many errors and typos have been corrected, though not 100% of them. See the annoying thing is seeing as I'm all the way in New Zealand I can't go to my local store that sells RPG stuff to actually check that (partly cause they don't have it). I have to order it online and it doesn't give me any of that info sadly. The only info I can get is the ISBN number. Lathrop 838 Posted July 29, 2015 Kinda odd. So, I went to a shop to check it out since I'm waiting for mine to come in through the mail. Move's hurl description was altered. For the most part, it's the same exact rule in the long text, just in a more brief, simpler form (likely to cut down on some of the more common questions being asked on the forums), but both the long and short (talent/power tree box) descriptions swap out "Discipline check" for "ranged combat check". And nowhere in the rest of the Move section or, that I saw skimming through the rest of the Force section, made mention of using Discipline for Move. Too bad I was hoping they would have a Venator in it. Still I'll take a look at it if I can find a copy this weekend. Won't be able to buy it for another week but at least I can see what the differences between the Delta-6 and Delta-7 are plus those between the IR-3F and the IR-3L. Edit: Ok that's odd I thought the IR-3F was a different model the the IR-3 series ships in Truce at Bakura but apparently they are the same. I'll be curious to see how they set the armament for it though. Do they mix Turbolasers and Heavy Lasers in F&D or is it one or the other? Kilcannon 177 Posted July 30, 2015 (edited) My next game is this sunday and I have 3 inquisitors and 3 acolytes standing on top of a gladiator fight the players were in ready to jump in and attack since the players just announced they are part of the resistance and the Jedi live. After taking down all of the arena fighters and getting the crowd to roar with each lightsaber swing one of the players just completed his trials that the Holocron of Revan gave him.
