Nyxen 1,605 Posted July 25, 2015 So I look at the name of this squadron, Black Eight Squadron, and I wonder to myself why the Eight? It just sounds silly. Is it comprised solely of clones of Black Eight, one of Vader's personal squad members? Are their eight ships in the squadron? Did they want to call it Black Squadron but then realized that generic already exists? Were they making a name for a unique pilot, realize both already had names, and then decide to just slap 'Squadron' on the end? Does it matter? For the sake of the Devs I think we should all post silly squadron names here, to which I contribute: The Screaming Wookie Squadron Pilot, PS 1 Y-Wing
Firespray-32 5,424 Posted July 25, 2015 Black Eight Squadron is a fairly well established old EU squadron. It's also not a silly name. 2 MegaSilver and Stilgod reacted to this
Marinealver 8,068 Posted July 25, 2015 Still you would probably see them as much as you see Gamma Squadron pilots, so really why does it even matter if it is 8 or 4 or 7 o pi? 1 Segmentvs reacted to this
Firespray-32 5,424 Posted July 25, 2015 The TIE punisher looks to be often be a lone operator, taking the place of multiple TIE bombers. In that sense, the PS upgrade isn't that expensive. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Black Eight or two cropping up.

MrkvChain 72 Posted July 25, 2015 The Black Eight has to be the last ship you kill, and you have to kill it on the opposite place where you killed the second-last ship, or you will lose ;-) 5 Biophysical, catachanninja, Conandoodle and 2 others reacted to this

The Spitten Kittens use to be based near me as a kid at the Minot AFB North Dakota, then they were transferred over to the NE, Conn or Mass I believe! The ND Air National Guard unit is the HAPPY HOOLIGANS! Fun names! 2 Wayne Argabright and SFC Snuffy reacted to this
