emmjay 319 Posted July 12, 2015 Ok, I have run several campaigns, both pre generated and self generated. I have seen many well formatted posted campaigns online. What I haven't seen is a good campaign generator/editor/creater that would allow me to take my notes and put them into such a nice format for posting online. Anyone know of one? GM Knowledge Rhino 86 Posted July 12, 2015 If you have seen some of the write-ups fans have done that range from doing it in Word, to PDFs that are badly formatted, it isn't as easy as it sounds to do that. Some people want to emphasize the text, some want to try to emulate the adventure books, some want to emulate a splat book. There isn't a "standard" when it comes to fan-made. So I am not sure you could create a program/thing to standardize non standard ideas.
emmjay 319 Posted July 12, 2015 I have seen a lot of really good looking PDF's out there, I didn't know if someone, anyone, had done a decent attempt at making a campaign creation program to easily add dice and such.
6Kilgs 27 Posted July 16, 2015 You have looked at OggDude's character generator? That has a complete encounter menu that allows you to do just that. Exporting it would likely need to be as a pdf or gif but you can add NPC's, dice rolls and all sorts of things to it. I recommend a look..
OggDude 3,502 Posted July 17, 2015 My character generator isn't really for doing all-in-one campaigns, but it can definitely be used for adding characters, groups, encounters, adversaries, and vehicles. You can print sheets out to PDF if you have a PDF driver, like CutePDF or doPDF. I also have graphical stat blocks for adversaries and vehicles that you can paste into a Word document, for instance. The stat blocks are also customizable. 1 kaosoe reacted to this
