Daeglan 5,950 Posted August 1, 2015 (edited) On the other hand.... How would the PCs know he could've been saved? Are they all Force users? Well then, shouldn't they all be trying to roll move to save him? If none of them are Force users, they'd have to metagame to hell and back to know he could've been saved. "Couldn't you have done that handwavey thing you do?" "Well, it doesn't always work." It was knowing inaction on you part. Your meta game attitude about conflict is the problem. My character is light side. I have been playing the same character for almost a year. Most of the time when I roll darkside pips I don't use them and it does not matter. But in the case of the pc falling to their death. If i had enough pips to save them I would save them. Even if it meant a little conflict. Those darkside pips are not the end of the world like you portray them. And most likely assuming you did not violate items on the chart you would still go up in morality. But you not saving the PC I would give you conflict for not acting when you could have.
