300 Point 4 Neb List

I plan on testing this soon, but wanting to see if anyone had any suggestions for refining it before I do.  The only changes I was thinking of were for the Commander and the Objectives.  I was thinking of switching to Mon Mothma for the extra survivability.  If I did, I would switch the XX-9's on the Salvation to XI7's and one of the Escort Frigates would have to drop to a Support Refit to make room.  One of the main reasons I wouldn't change to this is because of the higher initiative bid I get with Dodonna.  I feel like objectives are very important for this list as it would have problems with many of the ones I didn't pick :P

 

The only change I'd make to the Objectives would be on the red.  I like Opening Salvo for the extra 8 blacks at long range (especially with XI7's), but I'm wondering if Advanced Gunnery is better for Salvation in the long run.

 

Any advice is greatly appreciated :D

Would you consider dropping an Intel officer to add Redemption? I'm presuming that your ships will operate fairly close together, and Redemption will mean your ships can raise 2 shields with an engineering command instead of one.

 

I think I would, yes, especially since I just recently found out it gives an extra engineering point with command tokens as well.

Looks like the artillery barrage from hell to me. Protect those flanks though if Gladiators are on the table. Watch out for Assault Concussion Missiles. Those will ruing a Neb-B's day real quick.

 

This and Rhymer's Flying Circus are my biggest concerns.  Hopefully I could withstand a Demolisher ACM barrage and then just focus it to hell with all 4 Nebs that turn or the next.

This is fairly similar to a list I've been theory building as well. I was using 3 Nebs and a corvette with Dodonna's pride and Dodonna. I have two versions; one with the more upgrade heavy build, Salvation, Redemption, then Intel officers and XI7 on every Neb. This list has no fighter support, and like your list I get very worried about Rymer and friends. They can shred a Neb just like Demolisher.

So I'm toying around with a more basic build and downgrade to support frigates without the Intel officers. I don't know if they are worth the 21 points. With 3-4 reds you have a fairly decent chance of an accuracy and you are already nullifying redirects. So my second variation throws in 4 A-wings which can also put some hurt on caps if needed.
