The Age of sigmar

Recommended Posts

I was seriously disappointed with the fluff in AoS, skimmed would be an understatement.

Anyone who buys the expensive AoS boxed set will be disappointed, unless they're looking to play both Storm-whatevers and Skull-whatevers. Even then, I'm not sure the value is very good vs. buying the models separately. All you get in the book are the same 4 pages of core rules as the online pdf, plus statblocks for the models included, many pages of glossy pictures of minis, some very sparse setting background, and 4 very generic scenarios. I'm glad the store had a preview copy so I wouldn't waste my money.

This setting is wierd and the fact that Sigmar lost his Ghal Maraz is so sily that when I readed I culd not stop loughting. And they already making a new chapter for this one from GW called Quest for Ghal Maraz. How could he lost his Holy Hammer?

I will stick with my Old World setting, adleast it has a lot of fluff and rich history.

A wizard did it. :D

Ghal Maraz isn't made of Sigmarite, and Sigmar wants everything to be made of Sigmarite now. so he got rid of it.

OR

Ghal Maraz reminds Sigmar tro much of his time as the god-king of the Empire and now with the warhammer world gone, looking at it,  makes him sad...

OR

He just lets Carl Franz and Valten play with it now while he sits brooding in his throne room.

OR

Everything goes missing in AoS: Slaanesh... Ghal Maraz... Common sense...

Actually the skaven have it now, because.... I dunno.

And the Search for Gal Maraz is on it's way! A new army/campaign/fluff book from GW only 75 bucks! (Gaaaah!) I tought GW said they wouldn't do books anymore?

Most of the things I heard about AoS were negative, or people trying to remain positive with cognitive dissonance. With some positive youtube channels out right testing and concluding that the rules do not work as is and required a lot of house rules for balance. Whatever the case, AoS is here to stay it seems...

Hello everybody!

I am in shock! After long time gone from these forums I entered to see how the people of the 3rd edition were doing, and what do I find?

It seems total madness to me all this AoS thing, but I won't add anything constructive to the discussion... Just another Woooow, really GW?

Well, now a couple of links:
