Very cheap indeed. How would this work out? Dodonna is there because he's cheap - and because he makes every crit a possible SD shutdown Jaina's light is there to let Dodonna hide behind another corvette and still do his shots unimpeded. I think. Maybe it could be removed to increase the Init bid. Greatly simplified and condensed: Start at speed 4. Maybe Bank a Move token. Rush in, go Concentrate fire, blast away with those forward blue dice. With concentrate fire we're talking 28 blue dice (best case) forward arc. Either take side shots where possible in addition - or use the second shot vs. fighters. A swarm of CRs should be able to catch multiple TIE in each arc. Even with just a single dice, damage can add up fast. TIEs and INTs can be dealt with in this fashion, I think. When past the enemy fleet, pick Move command, use the token and drop to Speed 2 and yaw in behind enemy. Resume shooting. Victory! Comments? What Builds would it work against - and not? halfmanhalfsquidman 13 Posted June 4, 2015 Don't forget to give the order for ramming speed if you're looking at an enemy ship with 1 or 2 hull points left. Might also be worth your while to drop down to 6x corvettes, add in Mon Mothma for those sweet sweet evasions and buff the corvettes with a collection of Ion Cannons, ECM, Dodonna's Pride, etc. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ficklegreendice 34,362 Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) well, it's big, blue, and full of corvettes I am very close to wanting to certainly recommend dropping a CR-90 for MM instead of general D (also added bonus of having to buy "only" 6) medium range isn't terribly kind to the brace-less CR-90s and MM takes care of them quite handily So CR-90s with MM comes out to 264 ECM on the flagship seems like a safe bet and OLP seems ideal when there's so much shooting going around (raymus could enable) [286] the point difference between the CR-90A and B is 5, so you could get two (recommend it at least on the flagship so you can keep your distance) so CR-90A (MM and ECM) CR-90A CR-90B (raymus and OLP) CR-90B CR-90B Cr-90B [296] 4 points could be leading shots (meh unless you drop the CR-90A for CR-90B D's pride) 3 points for Tantive IV (not sure it'd particularly synergize with OLP raymus since he's crit fishing, but if you already have a token and he flips a dial he can give someone else the token instead of wasting his ability for a turn) 2 for J's light (probably on the OLP to be extra sneaky) Edited June 4, 2015 by ficklegreendice Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
