All those naysayers who said a Nebulon B Frigate was too big for X-Wing...

Kinda hope so, that and the ARGH-KITTENS!

It was to be the center-piece of my fleet.

I'm not overly upset about it, as in the last 72 hours i've gotten myself a new I7, Have been playing a metric shed tonne of space engineers and was able to actually sleep in for the first time this year.

Well the fact that you didn't get it is really sad - but that is a great attitude you have there.

If FFG ever produce one, I will vote that you get a freebie straight off the the boat!

Best wishes.

I've never seen a good explanation as to why the Nebulon B has an exposed midsection that has docking facilities. Is it meant to dock with relatively large ships for maintenance? Is it supposed to carry cargo pods? Why can't the fore and aft sections be joined without a gap? Is the midsection actually more vulnerable to attack or is it wel armored and secure relative to other sections of the ship?

That's where the spinning section for artificial gravity is supposed to go.
Ahem, wrong series.

That was the joke.

Thanks man.

It just means I need to find a new project to be the centrepiece of my fleet.

I love me new projects.

Gonna post that same pic here.

Definitely a christmas miracle. I'll review it if people still want me to, I can understand if they don't.

Not a perfect build, a few holes not at tolerance, very iffy on the base - will need select use of glues. Not sure i'm happy with the paint job either, too much gloss. That's easy to fix though.

My files will need to come out, along with the glues in order to make this work. Still. I wanna proxy this beast for epic at the locals.

It needs to have the barrel roll action...

I slept on it and wondered if FFG could/would do one. I suspect they could sell one for ~200 bucks. This said, it's a major risk on their part and does detract from their current rules. That, and people would ***** just too much about unique cards there, if there were any. So, unfortunately I can't see it in the near future.

It was built with the understanding that the middle of the ship was DLC. The studio went under and the Rebel Alliance was stuck with an incomplete game  ship. The Empire, ever the cautious late adopters, said "hah! We'll put it in the simulator, but we're ordering more pizza wedges."
