Corrections is subsequent printings?

Early editions of the base game included a typo on the race sheets, and (I think) an error in the orange tech deck. The cost of a PDS was listed as 1 instead of the proper 2 and the orange tech deck mistakenly had a duplicate of one tech and was missing the card for a different tech.

Can anyone confirm that these issues have been fixed in later printings of the game?

I can't confirm directly, but I have seen posts from many people saying they have been corrected.

I don't know if this will find the results you need, but you could try a search for old posts here or on BGG

 

The PDS costs, for example, I'm fairly certain I've seen confirmed as having been fixed.  And I'm 99% sure that the Tech Deck issue with Shattered Empire was fixed as they don't have the "replacement offer" up anymore (indicating they don't need it).

I just received a copy from Amazon this week, so I'll let you know.  I couldn't pass up a $65 copy. 

 

I've looked askance at this one in the past, primarily because of the time one needs to dedicate to it...and it's not a solitaire game!  Please understand that I admire the scope, breadth, and depth.  As both a war game developer and a player of Arkham Horror, I'm no stranger to long games...but if they're incapable of solo play, it may sit on the shelf.  Thank to one of our TI3 colleagues, Fnoffen, he provided me with an excellent variant, created several years ago by a BGGer.

 

Anyway, I'll let you know about the printing.

    The Race Sheets do indeed list the PDS cost as "2" and all of the colored Tech cards are complete...no duplicates.

 

     Now, I'm just trying to find a way to remove some of the ships as they're quite solidly affixed to the plastic racks.

Cool, thanks. That will be very helpful.

It's best to use a set of modeling clippers to remove the ships from the sprues, that way you get a nice clean edge. If that isn't an option, an exacto or utility knife should do, as long as you are careful.
