Use a Squadron token to send it out and attack a ship in range to get your black die, and if you plan right, a concentrate fire Command dial can add another black die. I was able to take out a VSD in two volleys this way This I didn't understand. If it's the A-wing doing the shooting, the 'you' requirement of Paragon isn't satisfied. But maybe I'm missing something? You are correct this wouldnt work. Here is the text from the rules PDF. "On upgrade card effects, the term “you” refers to the ship that the upgrade is equipped to."
