GrandMoffMatt 958 Posted May 25, 2015 So this is my first try on this. After playing for three weeks with mostly ineffective results, I tried this yesterday. Escort Frigate: XX-9 Turbolasers Weapons Liaison Escort Frigate: Salvation XX-9 Turbolasers Weapons Liaison Assault Dolphin Paragon Garm Bel Iblis H9 Turbolasers Intel Officer 4 X A-Wing Squadrons I chose Hyperspace Assault, Dangerous Territory, and Opening Salvo as my objectives. This comes in at 298 points. My alternate had Point Defense Reroute on the dolphin, 4 Y-Wing Squadrons, and Precision Strike I played a game with each list once yesterday. The first game was with the Y-Wing teams. We pulled Hyperspace Assault. I managed to kill a Gladiator and a VSD and win. The Y-Wings really didn't do too much but die, but they did keep some fighters focused for a turn or three. Hyperspace Assault really didn't do too much, sadly. The second game never got past turn 5 as the game store closed. That one was blue on blue with the A-Wing teams. I gained air superiority, and killed the Space Dolphin. I lost an Escort, and the opponents Corvettes were coming around the flank, So List wise, I kinda like it. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

ficklegreendice 34,362 Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) you should list your Afmkii variant when you post lists (only the B can fit, but still anyway, I don't agree with xx-9s without some form of guarantee, or just in general. I find x-17s to be far more useful for just 1 more point since those actually open up damage against the hull instead of getting redirected to shields. Without general D, there's really not much reason for the xx-9s I also don't think those weapons liasons will be doing much for you. Chucking them and downing the Salvation to a support-refit will get your x-17s and Raymus "badass motherf****er" Antilles, which gives you both an extra die and a re-roll every-time you concentrate fire to fish for crits. the final tally also gives you 3 more points for the initiative bid Edited May 26, 2015 by ficklegreendice Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
