tinman41 0 Posted May 3, 2015 Hi,just played for the first time the fantastic board game of game of thrones. still not all the rules are clear. in the rule book is stated that "both attacker and defender may plead fo support from all areas adjecent to the embattled area that contain a support order". But what about ships? My question: following scenario:Martell: 1x ship in sea of dorne with support token + 2x ships in east summer sea with support token + 2x units in storm's end with march token.Baratheon: 1x siege engine with march order in dragonstone + 1x ship in shipbreaker bay with support token.Baratheon moves with the siege engine to storm's end, my question: Can the ships from martell support the battled area? so the total combat strenght would be:Martell: 2 + 1 + 2Baratheon: 4 + 1 please advice, thanks tinman41
Borealian 81 Posted May 4, 2015 From page 18 of the rulebook: "Ship units may support adjacent combat in a sea area or a land area. Footmen, Knights, or Siege Engine units, however, may never provide support to combat in a sea area." So, yes, Martell can support with their ships provided the sea areas are adjacent. 1 kauai1964 reacted to this
hoonZilla 24 Posted May 19, 2015 Yes you are correct. Just don't forget to add any support or march combat strength to your initial combat strength.
