DWRR 898 Posted April 19, 2015 (edited) The idea here is to keep your distance and use Pride/B-wings for surgical strikes against weak targets. 400 Point Rebel Broadside List 1 • Assault Frigate Mark II B - (72) Gunnery Team (7) Expanded Hangar Bay (5) Enhanced Armament (10) Total : 94 2 • CR90 Corellian Corvette B - (39) Leading Shots (4) Dodonna's Pride (6) Total : 49 3 • Nebulon-B Escort Frigate - (57) Adar Tallon (10) Enhanced Armament (10) Yavaris (5) Total : 82 4 • Nebulon-B Support Refit - (51) General Dodonna (20) Enhanced Armament (10) Total : 81 5 • Keyan Farlander B-wing Squadron - (20) Total : 20 6 • B-wing Squadron - (14) Total : 14 7 • Luke Skywalker X-wing Squadron - (20) Total : 20 8 • X-wing Squadron - (13) Total : 13 9 • X-wing Squadron - (13) Total : 13 10 • X-wing Squadron - (13) Total : 13 Leading Shots plus Pride help put that Critical Effect on a ship, using the Corvette B for maximum Blue dice. Play carefully and strike when needed, use speed to escape danger. Sacrifice if need be. The squadrons should never be left to activate by themselves, the X-wings all activate from the Assault Frigate and the B-Wings are activated by Yavaris. General Dodonna can be on any ship. Undecided which one. The Assault frigate circles the enemy chucking 5 dice out of its side arc (Enhanced Armament) and uses Gunnery Team to make best use of one arc. I want to try and find a way to upgrade the second Nebulon to an Assault Frigate. The points are there, just need to work the upgrades. Enhanced armament on Nebulons is an expensive upgrade that encourages you to do sub optimal things with your ships in order to get value from the extra dice. I have found that I never want to be engaging another ship with the side arc of my 1 shield Nebulon,and would much rather face my 3 shield front arc the enemies way. The big side arc is fantastic for squadron fire though. I would drop expanded hangar, and enhanced armament from the first Neb. Then swap the second Neb for an AF. Leaves you with 3 points to spend, maybe a Liason on one of the AFs? The two corvettes are there to use Overload Pulse and Pride as needed. Their attack dice are simply used to drive these two effects. The 3 X-Wings and 3 B-Wings are commanded by the two Frigates. Wedge and Luke included to give the X-wings punch Vs ships and Squadrons. Leia is there to share the quick Command of the Corvettes with the AF1's.
