Admiral Przemcio's Rebel Fleet

Hey i was sitting bored today so came up with a nice fighter oriented fleet build... the idea is that Luke and X-wings attend the Yavaris while A-wings (if Tycho is good will swap one squadron for him) profit from Galant Haven and their counter attack ability to chew through enemy fighters and then swarm the VSD's also Gallant Haven shoul be able to take on a VSD on it's own with her broadsides :D

Got my first game with Wave 1 yesterday. I was playing the Rebs with Gram Bel Ibis as commander

-AF mk II B (Gallant Heaven) : Flight Controllers, Weapons Laison, Enhanced Hangar Bays, Enhanced Armament, Electronic Countermeasures
-Nebulon B EF (Salvation) : Intel Officer XI7 Turbolasers
-Fighter Wing: Luke/X-wing/2x A-wing/2B-wing
With Total 295 pts.

My opponent had Screed commanding VSD I (Corrupter) and GSD I (Insidius) and a fighter wing of 2xTIE/ln, 2x TIE/I, Rhymer with 3 other TIE/SA and TIE Advanced.

Well I played it dumb and got punished by it… since it was my first game with Wave 1
i totally screwed up the setting ending with my AF flying into the center of enemy formation. which didn’t end well… I was able to blast Insidius to hell with just one shoot from forward arc and 2 from the sides. But I later succumbed to the VSD:/
I learned a lot from this game:
- If you have A-wings just let them lose and tie up as many enemy squadrons as possible especially the bombers!
- TIE Bombers with Rhymer and Corrupter are deadly dashing at speed 5 and attacking from distance 2!
- Rebels need to kill of enemy squadrons ASAP and then concentrate their fighter efforts on enemy ships.
- Salvation in the build above is deadly!!!! Especially when concentrating fire.
- GDSI is really maneuverable beast and packs a punch but with no accuracy the rebels are able to survive this except then equipped with this upgrade adding to black dice to the pool.

 

Im still tweaking with my list do you have any suggestions?? :)
