MarcoPulleaux 0 Posted September 2, 2009 So, one of my favorite characters ot the block is Nightmare. To me, he's better than Kazuya in that his form of destruction is more controlled, and for the most part, you OUGHT to be outbuilding the opponent BECAUSE you're destroying their stuff. His innate ability to destroy, combined with iPresence and Vengeance, along with other means of destruction, ought to ensure his dominance over the opponent, a TRUE nightmare. Nightmare* - Glorified abuse Actions: 6 3x Unnatural Grace 4/43x Destruction in His Wake 3/5 Assets: 42x Tower of Remembrance - Encounter 3/5 +2-LOW [Terrain]2x Tekken Forces 2/5 [unique] Attacks: 17 3x Knight Breaker 5/3 +0-HIGH4x Crushing Embrace of the Jotun 5/3 [Desperation: 4] [Throw]4x Leg Sweep 4/3 +2-HIGH [breaker: 2]3x Flooded-Nile Throw 4/3 +3-HIGH [Throw]3x Midnight Launcher 4/3 Foundations: 36 4x War Between Sisters 3/5 +3-MID3x In Search of Plunder 2/5 +3-MID3x Heir to the Storm 2/5 +3-MID3x All Life is Prey 2/5 +3-LOW4x Intimidating Presence 2/54x Vengeance 2/54x G-Corp Leader 2/54x Flexible Body 2/4 +3-MID3x Brooding 1/5 +3-HIGH4x Cursed Blood 1/4 +3-LOW Sideboard: 8 4x Perfect Sense of Balance 2/54x Martial Arts Champion 2/4 Lots of fun to be said... G-Corp AbuseHeir to the Storm - Intimidating Presence - Vengeance - Flexible Body While I thought G-Corp Leader was kinda cool, I guess I didn't realize just how many cards popped your things as costs! As such, it combos generously with Vengeance, and stupidly well with Flexible Body (effectively turning their attack's damage to 2). This way I don't lose too much advantage as I'm going to town nom noming their staging area. Widespread DeathDestruction in His Wake - Knight Breaker - Nightmare R - Intimidating Presence - Vengeance - Cursed Blood I love the flexibility of this deck, the various ways it goes about blowing s--t up. I love Destruction in His Wake. The way I see it, it's a turn 2 card you play to keep your opponent's staging area just destroyed enough so that you KNOW you won't die during their next turn (because they have no staging area), and while they spend their next turn building, you finish them off next turn. Breaker is the ultimate high attack to end Destruction on since you've already played a mid attack (in this case a throw) and a low attack (in this case Sweep). Nightmare R is attack + Plunder = 4 damage promised, Presence = staple, Vengeance = your turn has slowed down, Cursed Blood is just amazing. Deadly Nightmare - Shadow RushUnnatural Grace - attacks - damage pumps - War Between Sisters Like I explained earlier, turn 1 build, turn 2 combo into Destruction, turn 3 Unnatural Grace, go for the kill. My attack line-up is pretty solid, with mid attacks being throws, damage is guaranteed, and with a Plunder enhance (and a Brooding/Heir for good measure), my throw will deal a guaranteed 4, meaning Nightmare R + Intimidating claim lives. As Highs, I of course have Launcher and Breaker. Leg Sweep I feel is almost a staple for how universally solid it is. War Between Sisters means the pressure game is on, and when they side-in anti-discard, I side in anti-stun/anti-draw. Hope you guys enjoy it. I plan on building the Hell out of it =). LordAggro 0 Posted September 2, 2009 If you ask me, I think you need Perfect Sense of Balance to discourage Paul and other folks from simply stunning the hell out of you, and thus getting through your Flexible Body and Vengeance. Not to mention G-Corp Leader burns you for 2 each time, so you can't quite spam it.
bloodocean 0 Posted September 2, 2009 Using Tekken forces in my build. Love how it gives extra resources that cost you barely anything.

MarcoPulleaux 0 Posted September 8, 2009 Perfect Sense is gonna be in the sideboard, unless I feel something is unsatisfactory (Heir to the Storm is lookin like it). Tekken Forces...can only be played if I have less foundations, something I don't particularly want to count on. But hey, synergy is synergy, so I guess I'll lose the Soul Edge*s
trane2 0 Posted September 8, 2009 all life is prey and maniacle laughter. these two cards have 2 much synergy with your deck not to run them.
MarcoPulleaux 0 Posted September 8, 2009 Added All Life is Prey. Maniacal is cool, but I don't particularly have a need for momentum except for Flexible body, which is reached through attacking.

MarcoPulleaux 0 Posted September 9, 2009 Flexible Body is awesome, but not pivotal.
