Nemesis15 0 Posted August 31, 2009 With tekken being recently released I had a look through all the characters that were available, and although there are alot of good characters in the set, Jin was the only one that really caught my eye, what with having 3 difficulty and really good abilities I figured I would have a go at making him.. Check him out.. Tinman 0 Posted August 31, 2009 Having looked into Jin myself, I have a couple of things: You may want more Body of Souls. Once you start getting things into your momentum (read: Double Face Kick, maybe even a Wheel Kick or two) pulling those back for an all out turn is very powerful. Jin can be built to either build fast or build quick and attack early. If you are looking to do more building, look into Finacial Problems, or, if attacking is more your thing, Communing with the Ancients. Communing lets you play even more attacks, easier and earlier. It is akin to dropping another Jin, and lets you hold onto a Jin for a block (with Bloodline) without slowing down an attack turn. Attacks are, well, not my cup of tea. I can see why Spinning Demon and Shadow Flare are in there, and I agree with them, but the other attacks do not make sense to me, when you have Need to Destroy. NtD would be really good with Double Face Kick IF it could effect the Multiple ability. Wheel Kick is good with NtD IF your opponent is really going to stop you with that one last foundation. I would look into First Rite instead of Wheel Kick. With the NtD R, it stuns 3, and lets you play Shadow Flare easier. Double Face Kick has a few problems with it in this deck. First, your only Kicks are Wheel Kick and Spinning Demon. Spinning Demon, unless you are really wanting that DFK multiple, will not count, because you will multiple it, and the copy does not count as a Kick. I would look into dropping the DFK for something a bit bigger, that does not rely so much on a kick. If the 2 checks are not an issue (Jin should not have too much problem there) Maliki is a really solid throw. If you are looking to get a better damage bump from Path of the Masters, look at Wild Storm, as it acts as a free attack with its enhance. Over all, I like the symbol layout, makes for some really powerful building turns. I would definitely look into some form of draw power, besides Bloodline, just to refill your hand after you nearly play it out. -Tinman
LordAggro 0 Posted August 31, 2009 Needs more fuel (ATTACKS should be at least 18), in my opinion. Sure, having the attacks with Multiple is pretty rad (those being Double Face Kick and Spinning Demon), but they need momentum to burn, and the easiest way to get momentum is still by slapping your opponent across the face with an attack. So you need fuel for 'em. Also, the only damage pump you have is Jin Kazama*'s E, which is just not enough IMHO; although The Hunt is On will help you grab characters quickly, the fact of the matter is you will be out-sped easily by the likes of Ragnar and Astrid. And considering my Yi Shan can outrun Astrid, your strategy just seems a bit too slow.
