Shaneth 0 Posted August 17, 2009 I went undefeated at ECC about a month ago. I went 3-2-2 at Worlds a couple days ago and got 34th or something like that. I lost my first round to Mike Lowe, then won my next 3 rounds, then drew to a Felicia, then lost to an Akuma, then ID'd to my boy Rob because I was really exhausted at the end of the day. It's a really boring deck, but gets the job done. Characters: 11x Bishamon2 Assets: 114x Seal of Cessation3x Government Sponsorship2x Assassination Arts1x A Giant of a Man1x Mysterious Stance Actions: 44x Tag Along Attacks: 44x Flying Power Bomb Foundations: 874x Dancing Battle Kabuki4x Altered Mind and Body4x Battle Prowess4x Blinding Rage4x Torn Hero4x Amy's Assistance4x Holding Ground4x In Service to Country4x Inhuman Perception4x Journey to Repentance4x Ka Technique4x Memories of a Nightmare4x Red Cyclone of Mother Russia4x Revenant's Calling4x Stand Off4x Voracious Appetite4x Criminal Past4x Hulking Brute4x Prince of Darkness3x Cutting Edge3x Calming the Mind3x Come Through in the Clinch2x Ruler of the Shadows Cards Maindecked: 107 Sideboard: 84x Close Throw3x A Cat's Reflexes1x Lollipop Wall up and keep milling with Bishamon. Tag Along doesn't hurt you. Undercover Agent and US Air Base don't hurt you. If your opponent refuses to play a card (which is usually the best way to beat mill), you wall up with offensive stuff instead, like Hulking Brute, Stand Off, and Memories of a Nightmare and play Flying Power Bomb as an attack. The enhance on Flying Power Bomb and Bishamon's enhance guarentee you are getting something off, whether you are making your opponent mill 17 cards or take 17 damage. Calming the Mind is tech for Ira Spinta. On paper, it's not consistent. In reality, it performs exceedingly well as it draws massive with Dancing Battle Kabuki, A Giant of a Man, and Hulking Brute. If I could change anything, I would maindeck another Giant of a Man. I only had 1.

Shaneth 0 Posted August 17, 2009 Dunno. I guess other cards like Voracious Appetite worked better. I did however try to keep the deck as small as I possibly could. It just so happened that everything was necessary in the deck.
trane2 0 Posted August 18, 2009 i've play bishamon a bit, and i would say huge wrestling army works great. not in in 4's, but maybe in 3's or 2's.
