Got it Memorized?

A couple of questions I haven't seen addressed yet.

Recommended Posts

These are pretty simple questions but I needed some clarification since my friends and I had some problems trying to resolve them. Just so you know, he runs a Roxas deck and I run an Ansem deck.

1. Unlike the other Organization XIII player cards, Roxas does not state that you halve the POW on any Samurai nobodies he plays. So, does he just get to use the full power for support or is it halved like the other ORG XIII players? I thought it should have been halved but the card didn't specify so I wasn't sure.

2. My next question is regarding worlds and enemies played on them. I played a lvl 1 Monstro since it limited his friends, he played a Dragoon on it to find a Samurai, however, he thought it seemed unfair that I could choose to not fight the Dragoon since it not only let me keep Monstro and it's effect, but it also prevented him from playing another Dragoon to find another Samurai. However, I don't think there is any rule against waiting at a world so you can prolong it's effect. Is there any rule or penalty I'm forgetting here or can I just ignore the world and focus on challenging if I choose?

3. When playing Pete as a friend, does his effect change with the worlds played by your opponent or does it only count the worlds out when you play him. (ex. I play Pete when my friend has a total world level of 4, giving Pete a POW of 14 and a support value of 7. Later, my friend plays a lvl 2 world card raising his world lvl to 6, does this raise Pete's POW lvl to 16 and support value to 8? Or does it stay at the original POW of 14 because that was when I played it?

4. Finally, when I use Bit Sniper's effect to play him at a lower lvl than 4, does he remain at this lvl or is it just for when I first play him? I asked because I intended to use a Bit Sniper lowered to lvl 3 to play a lvl 4 dark card, but we were not sure if he remained lvl 3 or went back to lvl 4.

Any input would be appreciated and I apologize for making it so long.

1. This is up in the air, because the samurai doesn't technically have any support.  Dawn and I discussed this in a rules thread a while back, and I made the argument of "Roxas is so gimped for friends anyway, and they didn't just fill up his text box like Riku, Ansem, etc., so they probably get the full 12."  Either way, Roxas is too weak of a deck to do much of anything right now.

2. You are correct.  It's his own fault, and he's stuck there.

3. Should constantly adjust.  I don't have one handy, but there's no reason for it not to change.

4. Nothing is permanent unless it says so.  I believe the current ruling is that duration, unless otherwise specified, is the end of the phase.  I can't remember on Bit Sniper, but they may just say for putting it into play. It's possible that the duration is nonexistent for it and Maleficent Dragon.  I would be inclined to say that it's only when playing them though.

I have one more question I forgot to ask. How does one attack Dark friends? I am pretty sure it is a matter of the opponent using magic cards to destroy them. But is it possible for them to battle them like they would on a world card or is it limited just to magic? Also, does the damage to the dark/friend go away after they discard or is that just for when they are on a world?

You can only attack Dark Friends by casting magic on them.

As for damage, I'd say it dissapears at the end of each phase.
