Elena Deck - Any Suggestions?

Took an Elena deck to the socal regionals and almost made it in to top 8. I've modified it a bit now, any suggestions?

Characters:

Attacks:

• Fire Shadow x 4
• Eagle Talon x 3
• Hand Stand Kick x 4
• Lynx Tail x 3
• Swooping Hawk Lunge x 4
• Mark of the Beast x 4

Foundations:

• Infected x 3
• Light Hearted x 4
• Torn Hero x 4
• Empire's Ruin x 2
• The Red Lotus of the Sun x 4
• Holding Ground x 4
• Buddhist Devotion x 4
• Moving On x 4
• Destiny x 3
• Cute and Innocent x 3
• Warrior Princess x 4

Assets:

• Glanzende Nova and Frischer Himmel x 2

The idea is just to do lots of damage quickly utilizing Elena's ability to make everything be faster and stronger. At the same time I am guarding heavily against stuns and damage buffs to protect my tiny vitality total. If I can I build up a little momentum and use warrior princess to either give me a big damage boost or to enable me to turn my attack into a multiple 1 attack.

One question about multiples. When I make a multiple copy does it have resource symbols or no? an extra +1 Speed and Damage on the multiple makes all the difference.

 In short, yes. Multiple Attacks are exact duplicates of the originating attack, just w/o any text. So, yes, they share the exact same resource symbols as the originating attack.

I would replace the Fire Shadows with 4x Dragon Flame (if you have them). Throw out Mark of the Beast + Handstand Kick + Dragon Flame!

Hey Matt

So looking at it I see youve made quite a few changes.... it looks good.

I think you need to add Cursed Blood.  It adds an element of control and helps you build faster.

Healer's and Amy's Assistance are good in here too, but I dont think you have any of those.

Tag ALong should be in here to dig for that extra attack to make lethal.

Lastly Mentally Unstable is a key card for this deck; it lets you reuse your attacks utilizing your free boosts multiple times

One of the best ways to boost damage for Elena is to make sure that your attacks have 3 symbols that you can consistantly match with Elena.  To do that CONSISTANTLY, you should probably find a way to work in Siegfrieds resource gain.  With 8 cards that gain you a symbol, you're going to have at least one in your opening hand, on average.  You also want some momentum generation so you can generate multiples and relying just on attacks isnt likely to cut it.  I suggest White Magic for that.  Possibly White Gi if you can get them as they give you some extra card draw too.

Having a few Spinning Beats wouldnt hurt either, though I wouldnt have more then 2 or 3.

run four empires ruin, and 3 maybe 4 fight or flight, you need more speed pump or your attacks will get blocked really easily
