Grand Marshal 1 Posted April 6, 2015 (edited) Hi all, Can a redirect defense token be used to redirect damage taken from one shield to another adjacent shield? Or is this defense token only able to redirect damage taken to a HULL and sent to a shield on an adjacent hull zone? Please let me know your interpretations of this rule and thank you! -GM Edited April 6, 2015 by Grand Marshal
wjgo 98 Posted April 6, 2015 (edited) No interpretation needed, page 4. Any amount of damage on the adjacent hull zone, to the limit of shield remaining. So if you take 2 damage, you can redirect all of that to an adjacent zone, reduce that zones shields by 2. You will sill have your shields in the original defending hull zone. • Redirect: The defender chooses one of its hull zonesadjacent to the defending hull zone. When the defendersuffers damage from this attack, it may suffer anyamount of damage on the chosen zone’s shields (up tothe shields remaining on that zone) before it must sufferthe remaining damage on the defending hull zone.
