All 10 current skirmish maps in PDF layout help files

Recommended Posts

Hi there.

finally finished todays "work" of making these layout aid maps.

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rsie8vzyf3rq273/AACUGydfaoSszOJJdasptsfja?dl=0

Please note the following errata:

In Kuat Space Station the insert erroneously states you need 2 x #36 but you need a total of 3 x #36

In Ord Mantell Junkyard they've also missed a #36 tile in the "itinerary"

The idea is that the layouts should give a fast overview of the tiles placement and speed up the setup between games (or at least make it easier)

Let me know what you think of it and if there are mistakes that needs fixing or if you have other suggestions.

I might update with the placing of mission objects and terminals later

Happy Easter Skirmish from Denmark.

-Niko-

(Edit: All maps have been slightly updated (too many tile edges were not the correct/same thickness) so everything is semi-OCD proofed)

Imperial Assault Map - Mos Eisley Outskirts (Core Set).pdf

Imperial Assault Map - Moisture Farm (Luke Skywalker).pdf

Imperial Assault Map - Massassi Ruins (Darth Vader).pdf

What size paper are you printing these on?

EDIT: wait, or are you not printing them at all?

They are designed in a format close to A2 but that's only truly relevant if you're interested to print them in "life size" and use as an outline for placing the tiles. I suggest shrinking/adjusting to your preferred paper size and simply use as a reference for the tiles placements.

Sounds reasonable?

(Edit: Yay for the millennium post BTW!)

Good, good! This is a step in the right direction. But, what I really want are pdfs of the actual maps so I can take them to an office supply store and have them printed on vinyl :D

That might be stretching it a bit

Hello! Thank you for making this, i have been having problems with making the maps bur this helps alot. Are you going to do the other ones to? Like Boba fett, Kayne Somos, R2d2 and C-POs and the other ones? Also i think theres à misstake in Chewbaccas skirmish map, there 17B is, I think 5B should be there instead.

On Chewbaccas map i think its like this, 05B instead for17B, 38A instead for 37A, 39B between 38A and 11B.

Check these that someone else have made. Likely with less errors ;-)

I just stumbled across this post today - thank you! These are very helpful and speed the process of building the maps a lot. Any chance there are layouts for the newer maps available as well? (hint, hint) :)
