Hemux 1 Posted July 23, 2009 Hey, as I did for Innsmouth in Arkham, I will ask here if some operator could replace the Broodwar Rules Booklet because it is **** scr..... er, I mean it is pretty f.... well, actually, some pages are missing ! I mean, I think so... I'm pretty sure it differs from the original ! Thanks !
EMELT 0 Posted July 24, 2009 I believe you may be refering to the Scenarios. None of the rules are missing. But they don't show the scenarios in the online rules book for the Broodwar expansion. I think you should buy the expansion. Especially if you want to be able to play those scenarios.
Hemux 1 Posted July 26, 2009 Good advice, though no worry : I intended to do so at some stage (forecoming weeks to be precise). The thing is I ll buy the original game first I played it at friends', and I had not a good feeling. That's why even if I'll eventually get it (mad of SC for twelve years, still on battle.net these days for that, waitin like crazy for SC2), I always postpounded the buying, because I didn't feel as much as excitement as when I play Descent or Talisman... not to mention Arkham ! There is something I fear, though : do you think Blizzard has a contract with FFG to get a SC2BG out pretty soon after the game ? I would feel down to buy the game and then see a second one is out few month after... PS : Can you tell me more about these scenarios not integrated in the pdf file ? why not ? Oh, and thanks for the reply

I suspect that SC2 would be implemented as an expansion rather than a new game (I could be wrong, but that's what seems logical to me.) Now, keep in mind that assuming the game does well enough financially, there WILL eventually be a second edition of the game. Regardless of what happens with SC2. That's a necessary evil of board games sometimes - that in order to make radical and largely desired changes, they need to release a whole new edition.
