The ship stand base only repeats what is on the ship reference cards, which shows the basic stats. You don't get bonus anti-squadron dice out of your rear arc. If that helps clear things up. If you look at the rear arc of a ship near its maximum shield value you will find the anti squadron value to the left, hull points to the right and ship class above.
