Allied Heros

Hi

Just started playing, and have started a campaign, with 3 players

1 - Imperial player

2 - Rebel player with one hero each and a legendary card each

For our first side mission "Homecoming" was selected, where Luke is a ally.

 

 

The Rebel hero's get two activations a turn, how many does Luke get?

Luke would still only get 1 activation. Any extra special character you bring with you would only get 1 activation. I have found the extra help to be only nominally useful in a 4 player game, and now that you bring this up, they seem less useful in a 2 player game...

Five activations is still better than four.

 

Allies tend to shine in later turns, when that extra activation can turn a rebel loss into a rebel victory. But from what I have been reading, many people treat allies like disposable wound shields. and their allies never get a chance to prove their value in later turns.

Ah, I think I might has been playing it wrong, So a hero can do stuff twice e.g

Move up to move points - Interact - move up to move points - interact next model activates

 

can imperials do the same?

(apart from shoot twice)

Please clarify this. You list 4 actions there. Move / Interact / Move / Interact

The only figures that can attack more than once per activation are HEROES (with the big campaign cards) and any other card which specifically states it can attack multiple times (for example, an E-Web with the Assault ability).
