That's a cool idea ^

I'd like the game to be gritty. To force the player to make decisions without obvious outcomes. Using the bounty hunter example I mentioned before, it would be fun to decide how to eradicate your target. For example, if the bounty is a politician, you may execute him/her, intimidate, blackmail or bribe them to step down. Your goal is achieved, but the repurcussions of your decision will be felt differently by different factions .. gaining or losing favour accordingly.

Finding an alternative to simply executing your target may provide higher rewards .. but at greater risk.

Of course, we still need countless faceless 'baddies' to shoot, explode, dismember, electrocute, disintergrate, etc.

I cannot express enough my hatred for the buzz droid missile. I have been upgrading some of my early ships for armada and listening to soundtracks for inspiration. But every so often despite the excellent John William music something will intrude on my brain like buzz droids or snatches of terrible dialogue. I mean how will destroying one side of the force bring balance to it. And why do i care how much Anakin dislikes sand

In the end he basically leveled both sides of the Force if you consider the respective orders to represent the sides they serve or use. In Legends the idea was his actions paved the way for a Jedi Order that wasn't so caught up in dogma they were separate from life, and thus not benefiting the Force. No clue where his actions will lead in the new canon.

Something that would be incredibly cool would be a Dishonored style game, where you would be able to choose how much mayhem you were willing to cause. You'd even be able to decide if you were a force user or Bounty Hunter.

The key, of course, would be solid level design coupled with solid power/gadget design. It would need to allow for stealth or carnage in either way you decide to play, _but_ the 2 character archetypes should play and feel very differently.

If you haven't played Dishonored, _do so ASAP_! The game is amazing.

For that matter im playing Inquisition for the third time. This time as a mage after doing rogue and warrior. A game where you are part of the new formed rebellion and can replay it as a force user (not a Jedi. Shouldnt be any Jedi in the rebellion at first) An agent or some form of ex republic warrior, With different map regions being replaced by planetary systems and with the ability to recruit a motley crew of companions would rock my world

I would like an open-world bounty hunter game sort of like Destiny.   You can run around with your friends, customize your character, and take on bounties across most of the Star Wars planets.   You could load during Hyperspace jumps to different systems, once you are in the system, you can then fly around and land on various planets, moons, asteroids, etc.

A Disney attraction: Star Tours meets the X-Wing / TIE games.  I don't really care which ship / ships we get to fly.

 

But the riders pilot the ship.

 

 

I think it would work better to divide groups into small teams each manning the bridge of a capital ship then to have everyone flying their own fighters but it sounds fun. Or perhaps four or five teams manning one capital ship with each team running a different section.

 

Of couse part of this might be my preference for role-playing capital ship officers iver fighter pilots and loving the idea of being able to do so in a sim environment..

It definitely would be more cost effective: in terms of the numbers of riders per ride.

 

They are -- apparently -- turning all of Hollywood studios into Star Wars land: let's just be greedy and ask for both!  Maybe the fighter pilot riders attack the cap ship riders?

 

...and we call the whole thing Rogue Squadron.

I seriously doubt Disney would ever do this but I was thinking about having two main entrances for the ride. One for riders who want to be part of the Alliance or whatever they are calling themselves in the ST and one for those who want to be Imperials. Then have the two sides compete.
