Item card "Knife" endurance

when you have the itemcard "Knife" for how long can you use this?

For example we have had the "The Terrible Experiment" mythos card. With this card you can fight more than one monster in one turn. So is it then possible that this "Knife" card works in every battle with the different monsters?

As long as you allocate the hand required for it. If you have say Knife, .45 and Enchanted Blade, using the last 2 gives you the most plusses against non-immunity monsters. If a monster has Magical Immunity, you will want to use Knife + .45, which are physical weapons. You can switch weapons between each round of combat and between different monsters (for example the Terrible Experiment).

As long as the item doesn't exhaust upon use, you can stab over and over with it on the same turn.

If you are doing the Terrible Experiment armed with a knife, you can use it right up until you end up in the hospital, probably after the first round of combat
