Seblys 1 Posted March 14, 2015 So I think we ended up losing but the following scenario came up last night in our game. The final mission was available and troops assigned to it. During the resolution phase the global and orbital defence went poorly with more than 2 continents falling into panic (a loss condition). However, the app does not ask for the continents status until you complete the mission phase of the resolution turn. During the mission phase we completed the final mission (win condition). The next phase of the resolution turn asks for the continents panic levels. I input the levels and we lost. Did we win or lose? Clearly the app says we lost but why does it force you to play the mission step if you already know before that if you have lost or not? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
CommissarFeesh 458 Posted March 14, 2015 If you completed a normal mission in addition to/instead of the final mission, you may have been able to reduce the panic level in one or more continents and staved off the loss. It always tells me final mission available but just tells me to resolve the mission, not the final or regular mission, how can I tell which one I should be resolving? Kendraam 230 Posted March 30, 2015 Yeah I kind of had this problem too; for our first 4 player win. It isn't very clear from the app (or, I guess it's possible they've updated the app since) as when it gets to the Resolve Mission step in the resolution phase we assumed that covered the final mission as well as the normal mission. It wasn't until reading this thread that I reaslised there was another step for the final mission AFTER adjusting the global panic levels. We thought we'd won as we finished the final mission before updating the global panic levels, which would have then resulted in an overwhelming loss!
